The Audio-Technica ATH-R50X are professional open-back reference headphones, designed to deliver a natural listening experience with a wide soundstage, ideal for critical listening tasks. Their drivers are based on those used in the original ATH-R70X model, redesigned to provide powerful bass for an open model, as well as accurate upper mids that ensure clarity in vocals and key instruments without sacrificing overall balance.

Their fully open design allows unrestricted airflow, preventing distortions or artificial enhancements in the sound. The drivers deliver clear sound directly from the transducer for an authentic open-back experience.
