Up close it is much more beautiful than it looks in the photos, which I think do it injustice. I just bought it yesterday, so I don't yet have an opinion on the accuracy of its mechanism, but as a first impression it seems worth the 135 euros I paid for it.

Very beautiful shape on the wrist (the photos cannot show it), perhaps the highest-quality SEIKO 5 dress watch case at the moment. It looks very high-quality and much more expensive in construction than it actually costs. With a black 18mm strap, especially with stitching, it looks 10 times more beautiful and like a dress watch that is still comfortable to wear everywhere. The visibility of the seconds hand in red is reduced; personally I would prefer the more classic silver one. The lume is very good, worthy of SEIKO. As for the movement, it is the well-known 7S26C; it has no hacking, nor does it wind from the crown, which is irrelevant to me—you put the watch on and go, you don’t fuss over it, especially if it is the only automatic watch you wear often. It is also water-resistant for everyday use; with 3 atm resistance, that means it should not be submerged in water or used for swimming, although I know people who do it, but then you are playing with the limits of the construction, and especially if the watch is old and its rubber gaskets are worn or aged, the risk of losing water resistance is significant. As for the watch’s operation, as is well known, accuracy in inexpensive mass-produced mechanical watches is a bit of a lottery, but lately I have had very good experience with the 5 series and rarely come across one that is significantly out of regulation, with annoying deviations (above +20 sec/-10 sec), which shows that the quality control is satisfactory. This particular one showed a very satisfactory picture on the timegrapher; in the CH position after full winding, it gives +6 sec/day, 0.1 ms beat error (the 7S26 has a lift angle of 53 degrees), while in the alternation of positions at 3H, 6H, 9H and FH the rate variation is under 5 sec (with beat error between 0.2 and 0.0), indications that are more than satisfactory for a movement that is mass-produced and not touched by human hands for precision adjustment. This particular sample therefore showed that it works very well, that it is properly lubricated, and probably that when worn on the wrist it will perform equally well (I did not have the time to test it on the wrist as well, e.g. for a week to see how it goes), and it is important to let it "settle in" for 2-3 weeks before re-evaluating it. In conclusion, it is a very honest product, worth the money it costs, and as a mechanical watch it is a very noteworthy, unexpectedly high-quality build comparable to other watches that are quite a bit more expensive.
