Black Gesso Studio Acrylics Pébéo

Acrylic primer in black, for those who want to start with a dark ground instead of a white one. Working from dark to light makes lighter tones and bright colours stand out more, while metallic and iridescent colours appear much more vivid on black. Like white gesso, it seals the pores of the surface and improves the adhesion of subsequent layers beneath acrylics and oils.

Available in 250 ml and 500 ml

How to apply: apply to a clean, grease-free surface. Two thin coats work better than one thick coat. For a smooth surface, lightly sand between coats with fine-grit sandpaper.

Tool cleaning: with water before the product dries
