The game is very underrated at this price, it predisposes that it is a bad game or that it has problems, but this is not the case. Unfortunately, it did not perform well in sales and they cut it immediately. I will make a small reference to the series without being one of the most loyal and longtime supporters, I just have played the previous one and have done some research on the lore of Deus Ex.
The story of Deus Ex is not easy to understand nor does it go with the mainstream of the industry and it is not for everyone. It is very "deep," if you will, unique, and touches on sensitive topics (illuminati, system, mind manipulation, etc.). I would say it is one of the few unconventional games, one of the few games that are purely for adults that makes you think.
Before you start the game, I suggest you watch a recap video or at least do a little research to better understand the story.
Let's get to the game itself.
Gameplay - I note again that it is not for everyone; it requires patience, it is mainly a first-person stealth shooter with RPG elements (if we can give it an explanation because it combines these genres) and you have several choices on how to play, lethal or non-lethal, but it is primarily designed for stealth. The mechanism is first-person with some moments in third-person, the shooting is solid and has a nice feel to the weapons in general without problems.
Sound - The music of the game is on another level, truly state of the art, the cherry on top in my opinion. I believe even movies do not reach these levels. Atmospheric ambient electronic music and themes that blend incredibly with the whole setting. Also, the sound mixing in the game is at very high levels with nice intensity and quality in everything.
Technical aspect - The graphics do not drop jaws nor can they be technically compared to the big AAA productions of recent years, but they are at good levels, the frames do not drop at all, I encountered no glitches or problems. I expected better lipsync and more clarity in the cutscenes. Finally, if you have a PS4, the graphics are improved and clearer.
Duration - Here I would like things to be a bit better. The story of the game is very good and captivating but ends quickly and mainly somewhat abruptly. It feels like they cut it off suddenly, I don’t know, in the end, you feel a bit disappointed and want more; this is the impression it leaves you with. The good thing is that there are also secondary things you can do that have substance around them, and overall the duration is satisfactory and will keep you engaged, I believe.

Verdict
The game is very good for the audience that enjoys such games but also for newcomers with a little patience, for the audience that wants something different, something more adult and deep. It will make you think, raise questions, things will stick with you, and in general, you will want more.
Although its story ends a bit abruptly, as it implies, there will definitely be a continuation, and this will not ruin your overall experience. The price it has now does not represent in any way the quality of the game, which is one of the most mature I have played, perhaps one of the few that are purely for adults, and in my opinion, we should support such efforts and not just the "showcase" games.

Nice little game, I took a while to play it but overall it didn't disappoint me as much as I expected since I had a biased view when it first came out.
On the positive side, the nice graphics and scenery, although I expected the character models to be more detailed and with more natural movements.
The sound is at good levels without being overwhelming, but it beautifully follows the story while the soundtrack elevates it and gives you the feeling that you are playing a movie!
On the negative side, I would describe it as very short, taking about 13 hours on the hard level the first time while doing all the main and side missions; for some more experienced players, it might take even less.
You can't upgrade all the augmented parts of the character even if you collect a lot of XP, but I would say most of them are fair since you have to decide how you will play, either stealth or Rambo style; however, I would have liked to unlock more.
Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I definitely recommend it without reservation!

Το παιχνίδι μου άφησε μια γλυκόπικρη γεύση. Το είχα πιάσει "καπάκια" από το Deus Ex: HR, το οποίο έπαιξα πρόσφατα εις τριπλούν για να πάρω την πλατίνα, άρα είχα πολύ φρέσκο και το σύμπαν του παιχνιδιού, την ιστορία και το χειρισμό.

- Τα γραφικά είναι όμορφα, σε καμία περίπτωση αντάξια των δυνατοτήτων της κονσόλας και παρόλο που έπαιζα στο PS4 PRO είδα αρκετό lagging σε κάποιες σκηνές-εικόνες και αρκετά περίεργα bugs. Νομίζω η επιλογή της Πράγας ως main hub το αδικεί λίγο, συγκριτικά πάντα με το προηγούμενο παιχνίδι. Ενώ στην αρχή η τοποθεσία μου φάνηκε ενδιαφέρουσα, όσο προχώραγα με κούρασε, κυρίως γιατί τη βρήκα κάπως μονότονη και flat, δηλαδή όλες οι περιοχές της μου φαινόντουσαν ακριβώς ίδιες με ελάχιστες εξαιρέσεις.

- Το νέο μοντέλο χειρισμού (έχει επιλογή να κρατήσεις και το ίδιο με το HR με κάποιες παραχωρήσεις), ενώ αρχικά ίσως προβληματίσει, λόγω κυρίως της χρήσης των μοχλών για το cover system και τα augmentations, τελικά είναι πολύ καλό και μετά από λίγες ώρες παίζεις άνετα.

- Η μουσική αρκετά καλή, σε καμία περίπτωση δε φτάνει και πάλι τα επίπεδα του HR. Μάλιστα στο μεγαλύτερο κομμάτι του παιχνιδιού είναι έως και σχεδόν αδιάφορη, απλώς υπάρχει σαν χαλί. Εξαιρούνται κάποια σημεία όπου κορυφώνεται για να τονώσει την ένταση των missions ή καταστάσεων. Θυμάμαι χαρακτηριστικά ότι στο HR με πώρωνε τόσο πολύ η μουσική, ακόμα και στο μενού.

- Ο Jensen ως χαρακτήρας πιο ώριμος και δυνατός από ποτέ, τις προσθήκες στα augmentations (δεν θα πω λεπτομέρειες) τις βρήκα απλά συμπαθητικές.

- Από άποψη δυσκολίας, στο 1ο μου playthrough επέλεξα τη "Give Me Deus Ex" δυσκολία (το πιο δύσκολο που έχεις δυνατότητα εξ' αρχής) και είχα αποφασίσει να παίξω stealth και no-kills για να πάω για τα γνωστά trophies. Δεν μπορώ να πω ότι με δυσκόλεψε ιδιαίτερα, ίσως να οφείλεται και στο ότι είχα πολύ φρέσκο το HR.

- Τα όπλα του παιχνιδιού απλώς ΟΚ. Η προσθήκη του customization κάτι πήγε να κάνει, όμως μαζί με τα όπλα, ενοχλητικά βρήκα και τα άπειρα items που αναγκάζεσαι να μαζέψεις χωρίς λόγο. Επίσης, έχω την αίσθηση ότι τα Praxis Kits που μπορείς να αγοράσεις-βρεις (όχι αυτά που κερδίζεις από XP) είναι αισθητά λιγότερα σε σχέση με το HR. Τέλος, το crafting κομμάτι με τα parts ήταν έξυπνη προσθήκη για να εξοικονομείς χώρο στο inventory από τα πολλά items.

- Η απουσία μεγάλων boss fights, τουλάχιστον συγκριτικά με το προηγούμενο, με χάλασε λίγο.

Σε γενικές γραμμές, τα επίπεδα και οι τοποθεσίες είναι καλοσχεδιασμένες και σου δίνουν πολλές εναλλακτικές προσέγγισης κάθε κατάστασης. Τα πιο πολλά side missions είναι ενδιαφέροντα, όμως παρόλο που έψαξα τα πάντα, πραγματικά μου φάνηκε ότι τελείωσε πολύ απότομα. Το ευχαριστιέσαι και σίγουρα υπάρχουν αποστολές (όπως π.χ. της τράπεζας ή του Λονδίνου που είναι εξαιρετικά σχεδιασμένες).

Όπως έπαιζα και με βάση τη ροή της κεντρικής ιστορίας, των missions και την εξέλιξη των χαρακτήρων, είχα την αίσθηση πως έχω πολύ ακόμα για να το ολοκληρώσω. Ξαφνικά βρέθηκα μετά από μία αποστολή που νόμιζα ότι ήταν απλή, να βλέπω τους τίτλους τέλους.

Το παιχνίδι αφήνει άπειρες εκκρεμότητες (πολλές περισσότερες από το HR) τόσο για χαρακτήρες όσο και για βασικά elements της ιστορίας και σου δίνει την αίσθηση ότι είναι μισοτελειωμένο. Δεν ξέρω τι συνέβη, δεν πρόλαβαν να βάλουν ότι ήθελα, τα έχουν αφήσει για το sequel ή θα τα βγάλουν σε DLC...

Συνολικά το Deus Ex: Mankind Divided είναι πολύ καλό, σίγουρα οι φανς του Deus Ex θα το αγαπήσουν, αλλά το προτείνω επίσης και σε όσους ψάχνουν ένα πιο "βαθύ" FPS με έντονα stealth action RPG-Adventure στοιχεία.
