I have the 4 TB for almost 1 year now, I haven't encountered any problems. Fast transfer, it works without issues on any device I have plugged it into (PC, laptop, smart TV), quiet and quite compact.

I had one, so I bought a second one. The old one is silent, this one makes a small noise. I can't understand why. Overall, it does a good job though

I only had it for storing photos and videos and playing them on the TV. In three months, it froze for no reason (no fall, no hit, nothing) and it never got fixed even though I took it to a specialized workshop. I lost all the family moments I had stored

It takes time to transfer files, but not too slow. Depending on each person's usage, of course. For example, I use it for movies, music, etc.

With the first hit, one of them broke. A second one needed to be formatted once because it was not recognized and finally it also broke. Guess why it is so cheap.

This specific hard drive had a 2-year warranty from the time I purchased it. 2 months after the warranty ended, it stopped working and I lost everything. I generally didn't use it, just for storage, once a month. Simply unacceptable product. It's a shame I didn't listen to the complaints of others who mentioned such a problem with Seagate. Stay away from Seagate in general...

I haven't checked its speed, but it is faster than a USB3 stick.

Finally, Seagate somehow improved the build quality of the case. The previous series I had was unacceptable in this regard. I chose the same company again because I have never had any issues with their drives, unlike WD. Of course, these things happen. It is at a very good price and the only negative is the read and write speeds, even on USB 3.0. However, the specific device is not to blame for this drawback. All 2.5" HDDs are at the same level.

I use it on my PS4 and I can say that it is very good. For 2 TB, it is enough to download games without worrying that you will run out of space again

I bought it for extra space on my PS4. It is quiet and quite fast. I consider it value for money. The only issue I encountered was sometimes when I opened the PS4, it wouldn't read it (it would show the games with an exclamation mark). However, a restart fixes it.

I have it for only one month, exclusively for the ps4, so far everything is going very well and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to buy it, its price is one of the best I found, if any problem arises in the future I will come back

Small enough to take with you at any time.
It transferred 500GB from another external drive in 1.5 hours.

For the past 2 weeks, I have put it through a lot with constant writing, deleting, and defragmenting, as well as playing music 24 hours a day for 6 days a week, and it doesn't overheat at all.

Excellent external hard drive simply. Especially at the price it is and with what it offers, it is definitely Value for Money. Quiet, lightweight, and its size is ideal for carrying it from the office to home.
I mainly use it for data storage (video, personal data, etc.) but of course its use is not limited there, as many use it as an external for PS4. 10/10

I bought this specific disc exclusively for use on PlayStation 4 in September 2017. Now (late March 2018), I have to say that it is excellent! The transfer and processing speed is more than satisfactory. It runs games with high demands without any lag, and of course, the capacity is more than enough. The construction is very good, lightweight, and aesthetically pleasing, and it is completely silent! So far, it works like the first day. It was worth the money, so I highly recommend it.

Edit 26/10/2020: I still use it daily. It works perfectly, no change from the above!

For the use I want (ps4) I am more than satisfied... it has warranty and I have thrown away over 20 games and still has about 1 tb (including game updates). I highly recommend it!

Christmas 2018 update

STILL PERFECT, you can't imagine how many games, themes, saves, videos, etc. it has fit.
DON'T THINK TWICE BEFORE GETTING IT. I was skeptical at first too, but believe me, friend who is reading this. It's just perfect.

I have had this specific hard drive for about 1 month, so I will share my initial experiences. What has impressed me is the transfer/read speed on USB 3.0. The 2TB is more than enough for transferring very large files and for backup. Externally, it appears as a small, serious data unit, without any design exaggerations.

Edit: After 3+ years of continuous use, I have to say that it was worth every penny and more. No damage, plenty of space, zero speed lag. An exceptional disk!

Small size, decent speeds, I got it for 80€. Completely satisfied. Unlike those who choose WD vs Seagate, I have been satisfied with both companies. This is my second disk from Seagate. It has a diamond-shaped texture that is very good both in hand and in the eye. Overall, it has good quality construction. I recommend it.

Ample space and transfer speeds that reach and exceed 100MB/s via usb3.0.
The disk inside the case is a Samsung Spinpoint M9T.
