Firstly, it does nothing and makes you feel tired, unwell, and with a tight stomach... very bad mood. I have tried it many times and sometimes it didn't do anything special. It is also very expensive!

1st) It causes dehydration.
2nd) It does not cause pain, cramps, etc. like other similar products.

Unfortunately, it did not help me as much as I would have liked. It did not work every time I used it. So, I realized that lactulose (the substance in Duphalac) is less effective compared to macrogol in my body. The effectiveness of each organism is different, of course. Also, the solution had a quite unpleasant taste.

My doctor recommended it to me for constipation, it took a month of use to work, essentially softens the stool and starts the intestine working without straining.
Luckily, a friend advised me to eat 5 apricots and 5 figs (dried) a day, and I found my health and stopped using Effecol.
