Description

Chateau Miraval Rosé, from the estate in Provence, where its history begins in the Middle Ages and continues to the present day, becoming more well-known since it came into the ownership of the couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

With an intense nose reminiscent of white flowers, small red berries, freshly cut strawberries, and ripe Morello cherries. Round and smooth on the palate with aromas of cherry, wild strawberry, and hints of salinity. It is balanced, persistent, and has a soft finish. Serve at 10-12˚C and pairs well with any Mediterranean dish.

Character: Bright pale rosé color and elegant aromas of peach, red berries, freshly cut strawberries, citrus fruits, raspberry, ripe Morello cherries, and white flowers. Balanced, rounded, with impressive freshness, subtle minerality, salinity thanks to hints of brine, and a distinctive long aftertaste.

Varieties: Cinsault, Rolle, Grenache, and Syrah.

Vinification: 95% in stainless steel tanks and 5% in barrels with regular stirring.

Wine is perceived differently by everyone. For my own taste, as I particularly like Provence rosés, this one is a very good wine that fully meets the value for money ratio

  • Very mediocre for its price. Greek rosés are much better at the same cost. In the end, only the name doesn't matter

What I didn't like at all is that they left 6 bottles at the front door in a package (cardboard box) that had no way to be carried to the second floor. I asked for the help of passersby to open the box and then I carried two bottles at a time in my hands! Unacceptable!! They should have been in two bags of three bottles since they leave them at the front door!

Initially, the wine is wonderful from all aspects.
As for the wine, it has balanced acidity and leaves a sweetness (aftertaste) in your throat. Its pH is stable for those who want to know. It has a rich body, velvety texture, and warm alcohol. The tannins have a good structure.

Average but very average for its price. There are much better rosés, but the marketing has achieved its goal.

I bought it to try it out since I heard good things about it. Nice aroma and impressive bottle. However, the taste is nothing special. I would buy it again only if the price is good because it is generally expensive wine.

It's not one of the cheap ones, but it's definitely one of the best rosés on the market.

Nice wine but overpriced... Many equivalent rosés (including Greek ones, of course) at a better price
