Another classic case where Philips collaborates with low-quality Chinese companies (because there are good ones too) and creates products that don't last over time... Another such case is the expensive Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush, which no matter what I did, it would break within 2 years, even the replacement that Philips service gave me... (in comparison to OralB, which is one-tenth of the price and lasts for years)

I have this iron for almost 3 years. I am not satisfied. Firstly, even though it has the calc clean feature and it does remove quite a lot of salts, not all of them go away! Secondly, it is quite heavy. Thirdly, I was using only demineralized water while it also required tap water, I didn't see any damage but as strange as it may seem, the tank started to smell! I cleaned it with vinegar, I washed it even with soap but it still smelled and all of this came out in the steam and consequently on the clothes. I would not recommend it as there are better options at this cost.
The positive thing is that it doesn't take up much space, it is relatively easy to store.

One of the worst models of the company. Within 3 months of use, the heated plate burned out, and even though it was under warranty, the company did not replace it for me. I took it to the authorized service center and after a supposed repair, I got it back without it working in the end. I took it back to the service center demanding a replacement, and I am still waiting, and it has already been 2 years! A lot of hassle and deception from both the service center and the company!
