In my own hair, it is now curly and lifeless, it does the job. For longer-lasting results, I follow with hairspray after drying. What I do is not to have too much moisture in my hair, so I leave it on the towel for a while and then apply it from the roots as much as possible to the ends. Then I use a hairdryer.
