Description

The art of crafting Famous Grouse dates back to the 1800s, with strict selection of raw materials and particular attention to detail, elements that have highlighted Famous Grouse as perfectly balanced and uniquely characterful whiskies.
The Naked Grouse is a whisky with a very good price-quality ratio, composed of malt whiskies sourced from Macallan and Highland Park, aged in barrels previously used in the production of Spanish Sherry.

Smooth and oily aroma with notes of cherry compote, malt, cream, and peach. Joyful taste with notes of sultanas, raspberry jam, cream, and caramel cream. Medium finish, with notes of cocoa, oak, and a hint of smoke.

Marginally worth its money. If you take into consideration that it is made up of giants in the whiskey industry like Macallan and Highland Park, you would expect more.

Very good value for €27. Strong vanilla aromas, notes of wood and spices, a spicy aftertaste that lasts if you drink it neat like I do. It definitely has the unmistakable character of a single malt, but it cannot be compared to more expensive Highland malts.
Since my favorite Dalwhinnie has become prohibitively expensive for me, I decided to try the naked and I was not disappointed.
While I was living in England, I worked in bars and have had countless whiskies and had the luck to participate in many tasting sessions.
Personally, I prefer Highland malts, but whisky does not have the same taste for everyone and I believe it is worth trying this one at this price.

Cherry, apricot, sultanina(?), oak, short aftertaste. Honest for its price. As the friend below says, likeable.

Cute blend for its price. It consists of young malts from Highland Park and Macallan, without, however, impressing or justifying the presence of such strong names in the taste. Nevertheless, it is worth its money and is a good alternative to its main competitor, Monkey Shoulder.

It is very tasty and it doesn't leave the burning sensation in the throat that most whiskies leave!!!
