First of all, let's look at it overall. Makita makes tools, it's not for household use. Also, the vacuum cleaner costs about 50€, the battery another 50€, and the charger another 50€, totaling 150€. So, it's an expensive purchase, right?
WRONG!
First of all, we are talking about a handheld vacuum cleaner with an extension and a brush foot, so that one can clean both floors and carpets. With all other vacuum cleaners, if the battery breaks, you throw away the vacuum cleaner, as it is unlikely that the warranty will cover it and there is no talk of replacement. And Makita is one of the companies with a long presence in the field of rechargeable power tool batteries. So, if the battery fails or its performance decreases, we are talking about a range of 2 years with daily heavy use, and if that happens, you buy a new battery! In the same time frame, any vacuum cleaner, anonymous or branded, would show a decrease in performance. With the same logic, one could either buy a new vacuum cleaner or simply buy a new battery.
Also, Makita provides service for all its tools. It is not impersonal in our country and has many representatives who can support service.
Cleaning the vacuum cleaner is extremely easy and simple. I use the fabric bag and not the disposable paper one, mainly for cost-saving reasons.
The cleaning and maintenance that the vacuum cleaner requires takes a good and full 10 minutes. Nothing more and approximately every 15 days or a month.
Performance is closely related to the maintenance of the tool. The more we clean its filters, dust it internally from time to time, and empty or change the bag before it says "enough", the better it performs, a rule for every broom and vacuum cleaner!
In terms of size, it is neither the smallest nor the most discreet one has ever encountered.

The use I have been doing for the past 2 years is daily and in a house with two small children. Crumbs, playdough, dust, cereals, crumbs, toast (those who have children know) are permanently on floors and carpets. So, every day the vacuum cleaner takes care of cleaning locally on carpets, even with a large foot, on sofas, on chairs, etc. The vacuum cleaner has been used for about 700 days, from 1 to 20 minutes per day, and it works like the first day. In heavier messes, it may struggle to suck them up a bit, but with persistence, it will manage. At some point, I may try it with the rotating brush foot OEM. The battery is the weight that may be off-putting, but it is neither prohibitive nor comparable to the hose and pipe of a regular, sturdy, and branded electric vacuum cleaner. I have done a quick cleaning with one charge in a house of about 100 square meters and it cleaned quite satisfactorily. Clearly, it will not replace a regular, sturdy, and branded electric vacuum cleaner, but in its category, I believe it is an investment with guaranteed results.
It is definitely worth the money and more.

Correspondingly, household ones are better. It seems cheap, but if you add a battery that gave out in less than a year with minimal use... not worth it. Nothing special in terms of power

Good for its price, does the job in terms of power, however its filters are not of particularly good quality. I use it in rental rooms and it picks up sand and hair very well.

The broom and dustpan I think will fit in the closet.. For the past 4 days that I have it, with just one charge, I clean the house at least 3 times a day.. Okay, not thoroughly.. but I vacuum the whole place (90 square meters) and it has even sucked up coins.. It is quite good on the strong setting.. because the motor is at the back, it can go under my furniture..
It has saved my hands.. I highly recommend it.. the size is just fine.. for my height of 1.67.
One of the best purchases I have made.. it saves me a lot of time!!! It might not work very well on very fluffy carpets.. but luckily I don't have Shaggy carpets..

Another Makita product that does its job well... It will solve the problem of me being lazy to take out the big vacuum cleaner... You just grab this and it's a breeze for quick cleaning and that's it... The only downside is for someone who doesn't have a battery and charger, it will be expensive for them. I had them, and for the 35€ I bought it, it's worth it. But if you have to spend at least 100€, because the 5.0ah battery alone costs 75€, plus the charger... It's a good amount... Other than that, it sucks very well!!!

It does not replace the electric vacuum cleaner, meaning it does not suck as strongly as a vacuum cleaner, but for everyday cleaning, it is simply perfect. Without cords, you can quickly go wherever you want with a battery that lasts long enough - for a small space of 40-50 square meters, the 5.0Ah battery lasts for a week. You don't even need to put it on the highest setting when the bag is empty. When the bag fills up, its performance decreases, but the fact that it uses a bag that you simply replace is a huge convenience compared to a bin. Also, the fact that the hose is in front and not the motor like other vacuums helps you reach different corners and under furniture, and if you remove the hose, you have a classic handheld vacuum. Additionally, there are extra accessories that you can purchase. In short, it is worth its money.

Very powerful vacuum cleaner, does almost everything that the big one does. Makes a lot of noise like all vacuum cleaners.

  • Good for its price, does the job in terms of power, however its filters are not of particularly good quality. I use it in rental rooms and it picks up sand and hair very well.

  • The only expensive thing is the battery, which is usually sold separately, as well as the charger. After changing about 10-12 vacuum cleaners,

  • The broom and dustpan I think will fit in the closet..

  • Another Makita product that does its job well...
