Despite being designed to be extremely economical, this Compo-System impresses with its build quality and sound, featuring the well-known AXTON quality. The 2-way Compo is equipped with a sturdy Euro-DIN basket and fits into the original installation positions of most vehicles. The AE652C operates with a very compact inline crossover, which contains the high pass for the tweeter. The mid-woofer driver plays without lateral soft restrictions, making this system particularly efficient and capable of playing very clearly, but also very loudly if needed, even in combination with factory radio receivers that offer little amplification power. The mid-woofer features a lightweight, low-resonance, injection-molded polypropylene cone, which impresses with its high rigidity and high internal damping, ensuring accurate reproduction across the entire frequency range. Additionally, the lightweight foam surround makes the pulse response even faster and increases the moving mass less than usual with other materials. The Compo is equipped with a 13 mm neodymium tweeter with a mylar dome, guaranteeing lively, differentiated high-frequency reproduction. Very compact in design, this tweeter finds its place behind the original tweeter grilles - available in many vehicles from the factory - without any modification.
