I have it for 4 years.. only 4. And it's the second time it breaks. The first time I changed the bearings. In a dryer that then had less than 3 years of use. The technician told me that maybe I overloaded it. Well, I said it's my fault. It cost 140€. They fixed it and now it's broken again. I don't know if I want to call the technician because simply THE DRUM DOESN'T TURN. And I have had it for 1.5 years since I repaired it, missing 8 months and more. That is, with 8 months of use. Until it started to break, I had the best opinion. Now I regret my purchase. My mother had half the money and she has it for twice as long and she overloads it and even leaves the clothes inside until she irons them. Something that is forbidden. But what can we do... I will learn my lesson and edit... let's see what we will do, will we throw it away or not..

The technician came. He told me it's the motor. Around 250€ plus labor... I bought it for 738€. I changed the bearings for 140€, now I have to change the motor too? How much will it cost?
Unfortunately, the 2 stars become 1 and that's a struggle.

EDIT: It has been 5 years and it still dries continuously, at least 2 dryers per week, usually 4 dryers.
Also, I have to mention that in order to dry everything, you have to put it on the "strong" setting and it dries sheets and towels. It took us 2.5 years to figure that out.

I have had it for 2.5 years and I'll start with the most positive aspect.
It is economical, economical, economical.
In a 2-hour drying cycle, it consumes 2kw, which means 0.32 euros per drying cycle.
It has a wide variety of programs.
At first, we didn't put certain things in it, but now we put everything in and the clothes don't suffer at all.
When we bought it, it was defective, so we called LG and within two working days they came, took it, and brought us a new one. LG's after-sales service is impeccable.
The negatives are that the clothes don't come out wrinkle-free.
I haven't seen that fresh scent and the wonderful smell that others have mentioned.
It makes quite a bit of noise, so it's not suitable for indoor use. I have it on the balcony and because of the heat pump, the noise is quite loud.
In my opinion, though, it's worth it because when winter comes and everything burns in the fireplace, and the clothes smell bad if you hang them to dry, you don't have to worry about using this dryer every day because it's very economical.

It doesn't dry sheets and bulky clothes with just one cycle, even if it's 2 hours long, it needs an extra hour in a second program

After a year of use, I can say that this is a very good dryer. Of course, like most people, I don't have experience with a previous dryer and unfortunately, even friends I asked during market research and searching for features didn't learn anything essential. However, this particular dryer almost always dries the clothes as they should be, neither damp nor overly dry, although it has such settings. I believe this is achieved with the temperature and humidity sensors it has, so the program stops as soon as the clothes reach the desired level of dryness. Sometimes, however, it didn't completely dry them. This can easily happen when there are sheets in the drum with other clothes which, I believe, tend to wrap around, trapping clothes and moisture. The solution is to pause the program and unwrap them again or fold them to the size of a pillowcase (it works!) or use a program that has right-left movement, but they can still get wrapped. As I mentioned earlier, after months of use, I realized that the times indicated in the various programs are indicative and the device can increase or decrease the drying time depending on the load and the detected humidity. I would also say that it is relatively quiet, you can almost only hear the clothes inside the drum and sometimes, of course, you hear some loud noise, but only for a few minutes, and I have noticed that this stops if the dryer pauses for even a second... what can I say, it may also be the process of cleaning the condenser, which is self-cleaning and is definitely a big advantage for continuous low energy consumption. Another plus is the LED lighting in the drum. The clothes come out soft and fluffy and require minimal or no ironing if they are hung relatively quickly. There is also an option to avoid wrinkling, as in almost all dryers, although it is very important to prevent them from being thrown into the dryer drum as they come out of the spin cycle. Finally, I would like to say that for those who are wondering whether to buy a separate dryer or a washer-dryer combo, I highly recommend the choice of separate appliances, not so much for the case of a malfunction, but for the economy that separate appliances offer (better energy classes), for the protection of clothes, and for the possibility of sometimes needing to wash something else immediately. I hope to save some research time for some people, as unfortunately, I spent a lot of time searching without finding any opinions with arguments.

Update 16/3/17 - I have found that the increased noise observed sometimes concerns the program for delicate clothes, in the mixed program, the noise is really minimal, especially if you have filled the drum well.
Update 27/11/19 - After years of use, I have to add that by reading the manual I found on the internet, I realized that one program is for a load of 9 kilograms, which probably applies to other brands as well, like washing machines, so that's why sometimes when putting 9 kilograms of clothes in the mixed program, which I think is for 4 kilograms, it doesn't dry them well. The safe option that works 99% of the time is the cotton program, for loads from 5 to 9 kilograms. Although its duration is 3 hours, it finishes quite earlier, it has happened to me to finish in an hour. Try it and you will see that it works. So far, thank God, no problems at all, but always thorough cleaning of the filter from lint.
