For at least 15 years, I have considered Eneloop the top rechargeable batteries, and they have never disappointed me. I use these specific ones in a cordless phone. It is true that they come pre-charged, so I placed them in the phone and left it for a week before charging it, ignoring the "battery empty" indicator.

My comment concerns those who have a GIGASET wireless phone. For many years, I couldn't understand why all the rechargeable batteries on the market were breaking/failing relatively quickly, after the initial ones that came with the phone!
When we place new rechargeable batteries from the market (not the genuine Gigaset ones), the phone assumes that the batteries are EMPTY. When they are placed for the first time, it continues to charge them at maximum voltage for 8.5 hours before switching to low charge (trickle charge). When the phone is removed from the charger base, it measures the discharge current, trying to determine how long it will charge when the phone is connected back to the base.
The problem arises when fully charged batteries are placed (like all those on the market). The phone tries to charge them at maximum voltage, which eventually destroys them (you will see them burning after a short time). Unfortunately, new NiMH batteries are usually pre-charged, so they are usually destroyed by overcharging. Gigaset uses this charging method because it is difficult to measure the actual charge level of NiMH batteries. Gigaset on its website states that we should put "empty" batteries! (And try to find them) Personally, I first put them in a flashlight or in one of my children's toys to discharge them. I don't know for how long, but their voltage should not drop below 1.0Volt because it can reduce their lifespan. Measure them one by one with a simple multimeter. When I take them out of their packaging, their voltage is usually at 1.3Volts. (I'm almost getting a "doctorate" from the hours I spent trying to find a solution. LOL)

Για πολλά χρόνια δεν καταλάβαινα γιατί μου χάλαγαν/αδυνατούσαν σχετικά γρήγορα όλες οι επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες της αγοράς, μετά από τις αρχικές που είχε το τηλέφωνο!
Όταν τοποθετούμε νέες επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταριές της αγοράς (όχι τις γνήσιες της Gigaset) το τηλέφωνο υποθέτει ότι οι μπαταρίες είναι ΑΦΟΡΤΙΣΤΕΣ.
Όταν τοποθετηθούν για πρώτη φορά συνεχίζει να τις φορτίζει στη μέγιστη τάση για 8,5 ώρες πριν μεταβεί στη χαμηλή φόρτιση (trickle φόρτιση). Όταν το τηλέφωνο αφαιρείται από τη βάση του φορτιστή, μετρά το ρεύμα εκφόρτισης, για να προσπαθήσει να μάθει πόσο χρόνο θα φορτίσει όταν το τηλέφωνο συνδεθεί ξανά στη βάση του.
Το πρόβλημα παρουσιάζεται όταν τοποθετούνται πλήρως φορτισμένες μπαταρίες (όπως όλες τις αγοράς).
Το τηλέφωνο προσπαθεί να τις φορτίσει στη μέγιστη τάση, η οποία τελικά τις καταστρέφει (θα δείτε ότι καίνε μετά από λίγη ώρα).
Δυστυχώς, οι νέες μπαταρίες NiMH είναι συνήθως προφορτισμένες, επομένως συνήθως καταστρέφονται από υπερφόρτιση.

Όταν τις βγάλω απ’ τη συσκευασία τους, συνήθως η τάση τους είναι στα 1,3Volt.
(Κοντεύω να πάρω «ντοκτορά», απ’ τις ώρες που αφιέρωσα για να βρω λύση. LOL)

Pre-charged you can't call them, when placed in the wireless phone they were almost empty (unless the manufacturer means that, then I pass).

So far they are flawless.

How to evaluate batteries, since (everyone) manufacturers do not provide lifespan... They seem to be worth their money, but you can't know with batteries! Anyway, they perform well in terms of quality, because the device I use them with (pressure gauge) is a bit "picky" in this matter - it doesn't work with lower quality ones!

These specific batteries are worth NOTHING. I bought them for use with a cordless phone according to the manufacturer's specifications. Unfortunately, after charging them as recommended by the manufacturer, they would not last more than 8 to 10 hours, often without even using the phone, just on standby.

Unfortunately, after charging them as recommended by the manufacturer, they would not last more than 8 to 10 hours, often without even using the phone, just on standby.
Οι συγκεκριμένες μπαταρίες δεν αξίζουν ΤΙΠΟΤΑ.Τις αγόρασα για χρήση ασύρματου τηλεφώνου σύμφωνα μετά χαρακτηριστικά του κατασκευαστή. Δυστυχώς όμως μετά από φόρτιση όπως πρότεινε ο κατασκευαστής δεν κρατούσαν πάνω από 8 έως 10 ώρες, πολλές φορές χωρίς χρήση τηλεφώνου, μόνο με αναμονή.
I had problems with other batteries and a Panasonic cordless phone, but with the Eneloop Lite I have no problem. However, it is worth noting that I did the first charge with a charger and not through the cordless phone.

Very good and reliable batteries. Just be careful, because they come charged, you need to let them discharge first in the cordless device and then put it on charge, so you don't damage them.
Πολύ καλές και αξιόπιστες μπαταρίες. Απλώς προσοχή , επειδή έρχονται φορτισμένες, πρέπει να τις αφήσετε πρώτα να ξεφορτίσουν μέσα στο ασύρματο και μετά να το βάλετε στην φόρτιση , για να μην τις κάψει.
