Since it is an open-type battery, periodic inspection and/or maintenance is required. Every two months, the fluid levels should be checked. The level should never fall below the minimum mark in any of the battery cells. Refill exclusively with deionized water, not with electrolyte. During long periods of inactivity, periodic charging will help optimize its lifespan.
The battery is not activated from the factory. The package includes the electrolyte in a container for initial filling. The activation process is carried out at the time of receipt.
