This is the first time I review a product but I decided to do it because my opinion carries weight since I bought three! different heaters and installed them in three different bathrooms. all approximately the same size
So, I review the Aurora touch. Good construction, not excellent, it could have a harder casing to look more compact.
Compared to the other two I bought, I have to say that it is superior in the way it heats and the speed at which it does it, but mainly, and I want to emphasize this, it is the quietest of the three different ones I have purchased.
I also want to mention that it is expensive as a product, but it is worth the money.
Now I will talk about one and only disadvantage that I have identified. Unfortunately, there is no way for it to automatically activate the heating as soon as it detects someone's presence in the room. On the contrary, it requires someone's presence for at least 2 minutes!
Of course, most of the time when you enter the bathroom, you don't stay for more than 2 minutes and this is very annoying.
If you switch it to permanent heating mode, it actually stays on constantly in an empty room.
It is unreasonable that it requires at least 2 minutes of someone's presence in the room to activate automatically. I would suggest something very simple to the company: the photocell it has should give the option to automatically switch on when there is human presence and automatically switch off when there is no presence, meaning no movement or activity.
Anyway, it is not necessary for it to operate continuously because it heats the room in about 90 seconds in a very short time.
So, this is a major disadvantage, on the contrary, another one from United, I will write a comment, has the option to turn it on and off with a remote control.
Aurora does not have a remote control, it has a button!
However, if you choose to turn it on and off, you have to be two and a half meters tall because obviously it is placed high and a child cannot reach the buttons to turn it on and off.
Furthermore, a child can turn it on and forget it on, so that is not a solution either.
I know it was lengthy, but it is a deep analysis. It is the best of the three I bought in terms of quality and noise level.
Unfortunately, it annoys me that I have to wait 2 minutes in the cold until my selection is activated to turn it on. From the button, it requires a height above 2 meters because, of course, we always place them high.
