I had the previous model for 20 years and when it broke, I bought this one without a second thought.
It is lighter than the previous one, and with a longer cable.
It is powerful and obviously requires care in use, but let's not forget that this particular product is for professionals.

nice powerful hairdryer, indeed you can do nice styling but I can't say it has an ergonomic handle, it is not lightweight

Huge cable for home use, it always folds and every time I try to untangle it. I suppose this has started to create a problem with the cable connection and it pauses during operation, so I have to move the cable to finish drying

the third hairdryer I buy. the previous two have not broken. I am just so satisfied that I have bought one for the holiday home, one for my parents' house, and one for my own home.

After 2 years of use, I can say that it burned my hair to a very large extent and I couldn't restore it. It is made of very poor quality plastic, hot air comes out from the handle and burns your hand. Also, it is not lightweight and makes a lot of noise!

I have been buying different models of parlux for many years... it is by far the worst... it is very powerful but blows out very hot air resulting in burning the hair.. also it does not have a button to adjust the hot air and cool it down... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT..

It is (says the spouse) the best. It had "the same model" for over a decade until it started to say goodbye to this vain world, so it was replaced with this one.. it continues to work the old one on the grill though, so you won't lose :)

Very good quality hair dryer and I hope over the years it will pay for itself. It has two attachments and in terms of functionality, it is satisfactory. It might be missing some accessory.

I bought it a year ago, I was excited at first, it was very powerful, hot air dried my hair in no time, but before the time was up, it suddenly stopped blowing hot air, only cold and lukewarm. The first and second temperature settings were cold, and the third was just warm. I was not satisfied. And I am coming back to mention that since I bought it, I have sent it for repairs 4 times. Never again Parlux.

I had the same hairdryer for over 15 years. I was very satisfied, so I bought the same one again. I have long, thick, and curly hair, and when I blow-dry it with the hairdryer, it looks really nice because it is a powerful one. The previous hairdryer I had was also from the same company and it lasted for 14 years. I was very satisfied. I bought this model after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, I regret it because 1) It is heavy and tires the hand. 2) It is too powerful, it quickly dries the hair but also burns it. 3) During and after use, the plastic parts burn, so you can't touch it. 4) During use, you feel a lukewarm air in your hands as if the plastic parts are not properly attached.

The previous hairdryer I had, a similar model from the same company, lasted me almost 15 years. I have had the new one for a short while now, but I hope it will last for a long time. It is a very high-quality hairdryer with good temperature and air intensity for straightening. Okay, it's noisy... it's a hairdryer, I don't know if anyone expects it to be quiet.

For everyday amateur use, a Parlux is needed every approximately 7-8 years. Tremendous machine. It's worth its money.

Awesome, high-quality hairdryer. I, who have no connection to hairdressing and generally don't have much experience with styling, managed to straighten my hair easily without frizz using just a simple brush and heat protectant. My hair is long and fine, and it doesn't hold almost any hairstyle. However, with this hairdryer, I can tame and style my hair.
Before this, I had bought another Parlux hairdryer which lasted me 10 years and survived many falls. The previous one was noisier. I haven't tried any other brand, but Parlux is truly worth the investment.

Excellent product, both in construction and in function. From the long cable to the switches, you can tell that it has been made to withstand many years of heavy use. In a time when everything is disposable, it was a very pleasant surprise! For me, the only downside is the extra weight compared to the previous hair dryers I had, but objectively it has a more sturdy construction. The high volume of air dries the hair very quickly even at moderate temperatures, so it doesn't bother me much. I would recommend it!
