I bought it in June 2022. Installed in a living room of about 30 sq.m. It's simply amazing. You can sleep comfortably without being disturbed. When it reaches the desired temperature, only the fan works. During the heatwaves of 2022 and this year, it works non-stop from 3 in the afternoon until 2 in the morning. I didn't notice significant differences in electricity consumption. It costs around 40 euros more than the regular one (if we consider that it works at least 12 hours a day). It is set at 25-26 degrees in auto mode. I use it minimally in winter as I use radiators. Only in light cold for about an hour to break the humidity. I highly recommend it to anyone who can make a small investment for large spaces without having to strain the air conditioner and have fast and economical cooling.

I want to draw everyone's attention: Mitsubishi Electric is DIFFERENT from Mitsubishi Heavy. Although the parent company may be the same, they operate completely separately in the market and even competitively because they are two COMPLETELY different companies.

What does this mean? It means that there is NO OFFICIAL representation in Greece. We only have Mitsubishi Electric. And when I needed someone from the dealership to come and see it for a noise that concerned me, I couldn't find ANYONE. The official Mitsubishi Electric dealership in Thessaloniki completely ignored me.

Therefore... I may have loved it for its extraordinary performance, BUT I am on edge, afraid that something might happen!

For three years in Veria, it heated a 35 sqm space to 23 degrees (we're talking about room temperatures at a height of 0.5m, not remote control) with a consumption of 60-70 euros per month (only for the air conditioner, measured with a meter). And in the summer, the whole house became a refrigerator with even lower consumption. I have been using it 24 hours a day, both in winter and summer, for 3 years now. It only turns off in spring and autumn, during the periods when the temperature is ideal, for a total of about one and a half months per year. But do NOT make any mistake and overdo it (25-26 degrees in winter), because when you see the bill, you will cry... I tried it and I know... The same goes for summer, it is very economical at 25-26 degrees. Below that, it starts consuming more.

The noise that concerned me, from what I have understood (on my own...), is only heard when the blinds are fully closed, during cooling. Sometimes, there is a ticking sound as if the fan is lightly touching some plastic. Otherwise, as you have understood, it is literally SILENT.

And one note, DO NOT place the outdoor unit on the wall of the room where you sleep. In both houses where I have installed it, the motor that rotates inside makes a lot of noise. Put it on a different wall.

It was purchased in the summer of 2017 and installed in the living room of a 75sqm apartment. This particular machine is one of the best purchases I have made. Winter or summer, the house is at the desired temperature.

Positives:
1. Heats up the entire apartment quickly (2-3 minutes), including the bedrooms (less warm, ideal for sleeping).
2. During winter, I only turn it off to clean the filters. It works flawlessly for days on end (no exaggeration).
3. The highest average electricity bill was 100€ and the lowest was 60€ (including hot water from the water heater, washing machines, ironing, daily cooking within this budget. That's why it's a positive).
4. Since 2017, I haven't worn long sleeves inside the house.

Negative:
1. Once a day, I might hear the plastic parts, but it doesn't bother me. I mention it for those who want to know.

Overall, the air conditioner is completely silent, but since I live in a noisy area, I can't evaluate it. I am planning to buy two new 9,000 BTU units (for another apartment) and I wanted to write this review to honor this machine that has kept us warm all these years. Of course, it's Mitsubishi again

Quiet both indoors and outdoors. You don't realize it's working. I installed it in a 40sqm space. It cools the room quickly. You don't realize it's working!!! So quiet!

In a very cold area of Attica, I have placed it in a 50-square-meter space, which is open but does not close, and connects to other rooms on the second floor, in a particularly high-ceilinged apartment. It's like I put it in a 150+ square meter space if you measure it in cubic meters. And yet, it heats up, but not enough to reach a temperature of 21-22 degrees even if it works all day.

The electricity bill didn't notice anything! It could easily heat up a whole house of 70-80 square meters without any other heating source.

King of the category!
Operating the device for 1.5 years, I now have a formed opinion and I am convinced that this is an excellent purchase! I went up in price to about 300-400€, avoiding Chinese brands, but I was justified by the ROI. Only Daikin was (outrageously) more expensive, and besides not finding a reason to go there, I wanted to avoid them.
It doesn't stop in the summer or winter in a space of 60-65m2 and has proven to be powerful in performance. Whether cooling or heating, the air conditioner creates an excellent atmosphere, which is immediately noticeable.

I have had it for two years in a detached house in eastern Thessaloniki and it is value for money. The house has good insulation with good frames and it quickly and effortlessly heats up the living room and kitchen, about 60 sqm. In very low external temperatures, of course, it takes more time and stops to defrost. I am very satisfied. The only downside, but also logical, is that the heat does not reach the other rooms due to numbering. In cooling, it is much better and the cold air reaches all the rooms. But the most impressive thing is that it is very, very, very economical.

I have had it for 3 years now and I have formed a general impression, so here it goes: A big negative is the intensity of the fan, it has four levels and even on the highest one it seems weak, it needed at least one more level. (for those who have it, try the 3D AUTO function which gives more power to the air, at least in warm weather it works more efficiently... I didn't see any significant difference in cold weather). Its performance in warm weather is good as long as you set it at 27 to 28 degrees (at least), lower settings won't do much if it's very cold outside. Now, personally, I would have wanted it to be stronger in cold weather to cool the room better, you need to set it at 22 to 21 degrees, generally it performs better in warm weather. As for noise, at the fourth level it is annoying, at the other levels it is relatively quiet and especially at the first level you don't hear it at all, of course in a large space it doesn't perform well at the first level. The external unit is huge but especially when it reaches temperature, it is almost silent. Just for your information, when you don't use it for a long period of time, keep it unplugged because it consumes quite a bit in standby mode (it is mentioned in the prospectus).

I have it for a year. It works perfectly and quietly in a single space with good insulation of about 100 square meters. Together with another (also Mitsubishi 12,000 BTU), they have exclusively taken over the heating/cooling of a 135 square meter house in Athens, without any other heat source. With absolute success.
And now, the main concern for many people: the consumption. After extensive personal research and measurements, it depends on many factors, such as the external temperature, the desired internal temperature, insulation, openings (doors, windows), the number of people inside the space, and even the furniture. In comparison to oil consumption (referring to heating), it will not burn even half the amount of euros as the boiler. However, the quality and sensation of heating are different. Personally, I prefer the feeling of radiators, but the difference in economy is significant. This means that you will spend many more hours at the desired temperatures, at the cost of a (possibly) "cheap" sensation of heating. In terms of consumption, we have nothing to compare in cold weather. Generally, the consumption will be a very pleasant surprise in any case and conditions. My recommendations: Buy something branded, even if it is slightly more expensive than the competition. A good unit will last you more than 12-15 years, so it is worth investing in quality. In the model comparisons you will make, look at the SEER & SCOOP ratings. The higher the ratings, the more economical it is. If you delve deeper, I inform you that Greece is a hot zone - so you know what to look for. This is a detail that you need to "get into" in your research to learn about it. Therefore, do not pay much attention to the energy ratings A, A+, etc. They are just a starting point. The next point for comparisons - and the most important of all - is the Annual Energy Consumption mentioned by every reputable manufacturer. The lower the number, the lower the consumption. Look into the product's specifications to find this information. Here, in the summarized characteristics mentioned by Skroutz, it is not stated.
In conclusion, we look at and compare SEER/SCOOP and annual consumption in kWh. Everything else is marketing, personal preferences, and... if only we had something else to say.

In a house with poor insulation of 129 sqm, open-plan in Ymittos, without apartments next to or above, it was my last hope for heating.
It was installed in a living room of 65 sqm and directed the flow towards the hallway that led to the inner rooms.
With an outside temperature of 7 degrees Celsius, it started and burned the first 2 hours at 3 kWh. As the hours passed, the machine cut off, resulting in the remaining 10 hours that I had it on, burning 9 kWh!!! approximately 0.9/hour. I had set it at 22 and on auto.
Unbelievable machine and incredibly quiet. The temperature in the living room was at 20 while in the inner rooms, which are about 14 meters away and facing north, the temperature was at 19...
Even though I have radiators in the inner rooms, I didn't need to turn them on at all.

18/6/2018
The DEI bill arrived. Overall, from 25/10/2017 to 25/2/2018, I paid 240 euros less than the previous years (including the final bill)... Heating alone cost me about 125 euros... It worked continuously for about 14 hours/day... An unbelievable number!!!

It continues to work like new with the same heavy use...

The meter (external) has recorded 5666 kWh!! That is, a total of 1250 kWh/year for heating and cooling over 4.5 years!! It should be noted that during the extreme cold, when the outside temperature is below 10, I would turn it on from 6:30 in the morning until the kids leave for school and then from 1:30 when they return until 11 at night continuously.

Details about the recent snowstorm: It raised the temperature from 11 to 17 within 1 hour, set at 20. Then it maintained it at 18-19 with an outside temperature of -2-0, burning 1.1-1.5 kWh/hour!!

All good and nice... Mitsubishi and Mitsubishi.. get one board to have on top of the quarter.. then no replacement repair.. let's see how long it will last.. build quality especially the internal unit much lower than that of GREE HANSOL that I had.. even the remote control very fake, again the gree superior and with illuminated screen.. As for the performance in cooling and heating it is the strongest, I have seen many air conditioners but this one does not reach any in performance, it heats a 70sqm space in no time, also in cooling it is excellent and regardless of the ++++ that companies give, this one consumes as much as a good 12,000 BTU Inverter because simply you will never need to run it at full power! 23/12/2018 after 2 and a half years of professional use, it did not have any other problem.

Ναι είναι inverter επαρκεί για ενιαίο χώρο περίπου 60 τετραγωνικά αν έχει καλή μονωση δεν κάνει την δουλειά ενός αφυγραντηρα και από κατανάλωση περίπου στα 1400 watts όταν έχει πιάσει θερμοκρασία.

Operating the device for 1.5 years, I now have a formed opinion and I am convinced that this is an excellent purchase! I went up in price to about 300-400€, avoiding Chinese brands, but I was justified by the ROI. Only Daikin was (outrageously) more expensive, and besides not finding a reason to go there, I wanted to avoid them.
It doesn't stop in the summer or winter in a space of 60-65m2 and has proven to be powerful in performance. Whether cooling or heating, the air conditioner creates an excellent atmosphere, which is immediately noticeable.

I have had it for two years in a detached house in eastern Thessaloniki and it is value for money. The house has good insulation with good frames and it quickly and effortlessly heats up the living room and kitchen, about 60 sqm. In very low external temperatures, of course, it takes more time and stops to defrost. I am very satisfied. The only downside, but also logical, is that the heat does not reach the other rooms due to numbering. In cooling, it is much better and the cold air reaches all the rooms. But the most impressive thing is that it is very, very, very economical.

I have had it for 3 years now and I have formed a general impression, so here it goes: A big negative is the intensity of the fan, it has four levels and even on the highest one it seems weak, it needed at least one more level. (for those who have it, try the 3D AUTO function which gives more power to the air, at least in warm weather it works more efficiently... I didn't see any significant difference in cold weather). Its performance in warm weather is good as long as you set it at 27 to 28 degrees (at least), lower settings won't do much if it's very cold outside. Now, personally, I would have wanted it to be stronger in cold weather to cool the room better, you need to set it at 22 to 21 degrees, generally it performs better in warm weather. As for noise, at the fourth level it is annoying, at the other levels it is relatively quiet and especially at the first level you don't hear it at all, of course in a large space it doesn't perform well at the first level. The external unit is huge but especially when it reaches temperature, it is almost silent. Just for your information, when you don't use it for a long period of time, keep it unplugged because it consumes quite a bit in standby mode (it is mentioned in the prospectus).

I have it for a year. It works perfectly and quietly in a single space with good insulation of about 100 square meters. Together with another (also Mitsubishi 12,000 BTU), they have exclusively taken over the heating/cooling of a 135 square meter house in Athens, without any other heat source. With absolute success.
And now, the main concern for many people: the consumption. After extensive personal research and measurements, it depends on many factors, such as the external temperature, the desired internal temperature, insulation, openings (doors, windows), the number of people inside the space, and even the furniture. In comparison to oil consumption (referring to heating), it will not burn even half the amount of euros as the boiler. However, the quality and sensation of heating are different. Personally, I prefer the feeling of radiators, but the difference in economy is significant. This means that you will spend many more hours at the desired temperatures, at the cost of a (possibly) "cheap" sensation of heating. In terms of consumption, we have nothing to compare in cold weather. Generally, the consumption will be a very pleasant surprise in any case and conditions. My recommendations: Buy something branded, even if it is slightly more expensive than the competition. A good unit will last you more than 12-15 years, so it is worth investing in quality. In the model comparisons you will make, look at the SEER & SCOOP ratings. The higher the ratings, the more economical it is. If you delve deeper, I inform you that Greece is a hot zone - so you know what to look for. This is a detail that you need to "get into" in your research to learn about it. Therefore, do not pay much attention to the energy ratings A, A+, etc. They are just a starting point. The next point for comparisons - and the most important of all - is the Annual Energy Consumption mentioned by every reputable manufacturer. The lower the number, the lower the consumption. Look into the product's specifications to find this information. Here, in the summarized characteristics mentioned by Skroutz, it is not stated.
In conclusion, we look at and compare SEER/SCOOP and annual consumption in kWh. Everything else is marketing, personal preferences, and... if only we had something else to say.

In a house with poor insulation of 129 sqm, open-plan in Ymittos, without apartments next to or above, it was my last hope for heating.
It was installed in a living room of 65 sqm and directed the flow towards the hallway that led to the inner rooms.
With an outside temperature of 7 degrees Celsius, it started and burned the first 2 hours at 3 kWh. As the hours passed, the machine cut off, resulting in the remaining 10 hours that I had it on, burning 9 kWh!!! approximately 0.9/hour. I had set it at 22 and on auto.
Unbelievable machine and incredibly quiet. The temperature in the living room was at 20 while in the inner rooms, which are about 14 meters away and facing north, the temperature was at 19...
Even though I have radiators in the inner rooms, I didn't need to turn them on at all.

The DEI bill arrived. Overall, from 25/10/2017 to 25/2/2018, I paid 240 euros less than the previous years (including the final bill)... Heating alone cost me about 125 euros... It worked continuously for about 14 hours/day... An unbelievable number!!!

The meter (external) has recorded 5666 kWh!! That is, a total of 1250 kWh/year for heating and cooling over 4.5 years!! It should be noted that during the extreme cold, when the outside temperature is below 10, I would turn it on from 6:30 in the morning until the kids leave for school and then from 1:30 when they return until 11 at night continuously.

Details about the recent snowstorm: It raised the temperature from 11 to 17 within 1 hour, set at 20. Then it maintained it at 18-19 with an outside temperature of -2-0, burning 1.1-1.5 kWh/hour!!

All good and nice... Mitsubishi and Mitsubishi.. get one board to have on top of the quarter.. then no replacement repair.. let's see how long it will last.. build quality especially the internal unit much lower than that of GREE HANSOL that I had.. even the remote control very fake, again the gree superior and with illuminated screen.. As for the performance in cooling and heating it is the strongest, I have seen many air conditioners but this one does not reach any in performance, it heats a 70sqm space in no time, also in cooling it is excellent and regardless of the ++++ that companies give, this one consumes as much as a good 12,000 BTU Inverter because simply you will never need to run it at full power! 23/12/2018 after 2 and a half years of professional use, it did not have any other problem.

I bought it in June 2022. Installed in a living room of about 30 sq.m. It's simply amazing. You can sleep comfortably without being disturbed. When it reaches the desired temperature, only the fan works. During the heatwaves of 2022 and this year, it works non-stop from 3 in the afternoon until 2 in the morning. I didn't notice significant differences in electricity consumption. It costs around 40 euros more than the regular one (if we consider that it works at least 12 hours a day). It is set at 25-26 degrees in auto mode. I use it minimally in winter as I use radiators. Only in light cold for about an hour to break the humidity. I highly recommend it to anyone who can make a small investment for large spaces without having to strain the air conditioner and have fast and economical cooling.

I want to draw everyone's attention: Mitsubishi Electric is DIFFERENT from Mitsubishi Heavy. Although the parent company may be the same, they operate completely separately in the market and even competitively because they are two COMPLETELY different companies.

What does this mean? It means that there is NO OFFICIAL representation in Greece. We only have Mitsubishi Electric. And when I needed someone from the dealership to come and see it for a noise that concerned me, I couldn't find ANYONE. The official Mitsubishi Electric dealership in Thessaloniki completely ignored me.

Therefore... I may have loved it for its extraordinary performance, BUT I am on edge, afraid that something might happen!

For three years in Veria, it heated a 35 sqm space to 23 degrees (we're talking about room temperatures at a height of 0.5m, not remote control) with a consumption of 60-70 euros per month (only for the air conditioner, measured with a meter). And in the summer, the whole house became a refrigerator with even lower consumption. I have been using it 24 hours a day, both in winter and summer, for 3 years now. It only turns off in spring and autumn, during the periods when the temperature is ideal, for a total of about one and a half months per year. But do NOT make any mistake and overdo it (25-26 degrees in winter), because when you see the bill, you will cry... I tried it and I know... The same goes for summer, it is very economical at 25-26 degrees. Below that, it starts consuming more.

The noise that concerned me, from what I have understood (on my own...), is only heard when the blinds are fully closed, during cooling. Sometimes, there is a ticking sound as if the fan is lightly touching some plastic. Otherwise, as you have understood, it is literally SILENT.

And one note, DO NOT place the outdoor unit on the wall of the room where you sleep. In both houses where I have installed it, the motor that rotates inside makes a lot of noise. Put it on a different wall.

It was purchased in the summer of 2017 and installed in the living room of a 75sqm apartment. This particular machine is one of the best purchases I have made. Winter or summer, the house is at the desired temperature.

Positives:
1. Heats up the entire apartment quickly (2-3 minutes), including the bedrooms (less warm, ideal for sleeping).
2. During winter, I only turn it off to clean the filters. It works flawlessly for days on end (no exaggeration).
3. The highest average electricity bill was 100€ and the lowest was 60€ (including hot water from the water heater, washing machines, ironing, daily cooking within this budget. That's why it's a positive).
4. Since 2017, I haven't worn long sleeves inside the house.

Negative:
1. Once a day, I might hear the plastic parts, but it doesn't bother me. I mention it for those who want to know.

Overall, the air conditioner is completely silent, but since I live in a noisy area, I can't evaluate it. I am planning to buy two new 9,000 BTU units (for another apartment) and I wanted to write this review to honor this machine that has kept us warm all these years. Of course, it's Mitsubishi again

In a very cold area of Attica, I have placed it in a 50-square-meter space, which is open but does not close, and connects to other rooms on the second floor, in a particularly high-ceilinged apartment. It's like I put it in a 150+ square meter space if you measure it in cubic meters. And yet, it heats up, but not enough to reach a temperature of 21-22 degrees even if it works all day.

The electricity bill didn't notice anything! It could easily heat up a whole house of 70-80 square meters without any other heating source.
