After trying many products, I tried this one as well.. and the result was exactly the same.. blue screens. And when it was recording video, it didn't capture sound.. In the end, we can't avoid the solution of paying a professional.

Very poor recording quality from the camera. At first, I thought the old tapes had been demagnetized, but no. The quality of the films is good, but this specific recorder that converts the analog signal to digital is terrible!

Having changed many such devices (Ezcap, EasyCAP, etc.), I have to say that it ultimately depends largely on luck whether it will turn out to be of good quality. I mean, I have bought a cheaper adapter than the Avermedia DVD Ezmaker with better quality, but also others with much worse quality. As for the image quality, I would consider this one to be quite above average and good for its price. But don't be surprised if you get one piece today and it's good, and you get another tomorrow and it's worse. My assumption is that not all of them are manufactured properly, and this applies to ALL Chinese and non-Chinese companies.

I am completely satisfied. It converted all our old videotapes into digital format. It worked exactly as promised by the manufacturer. Easy to use and connect.
