The Seagate Barracuda is a 3.5 HDD hard drive, with a capacity of 3TB and rotational speed of 7200 RPM. This speed is recommended for all uses such as file storage, program and game installation.
It operates with the communication protocol SATA III and is recommended for home use. It is the most modern SATA standard and the motherboard must support it for the disk to operate at its maximum capabilities. It can be connected without any problem to SATA II ports, but it will work at lower speeds.
For installation in a desktop computer, you will need a SATA III data cable and an available SATA port on the motherboard. You will also need an available power supply cable for the SATA device from the power supply.

    Ο δίσκος αγοράστηκε τον Ιανουάριο του 2018 τον Νοέμβριο έκανε bad sector προσπάθησα με το sea tools (boot) να το διορθώσω δεν έγινε τίποτα τον πήγα στο eshop με πήραν τηλέφωνο την επόμενη , τελικά πήρα πιστωτικό το ποσό τις αγοράς .
    τον δίσκο τον είχα σαν αποθηκευτικό χώρο για φωτογραφίες .

    Πρωτη φορα παρνω Seagate καθως το απεφευγα χρονια λογω παλαιοτερων διαβοητων σειρων. Η αγορα εγινε μεσα στον 01/2017.
    To μοντελο του δισκου ειναι το ST3000DM008, γυρναει στις 7200rpm εχει 4Kn Byte sector και 64ΜΒ cache.

    Edit 12/2017: Αγορα δευτερου ιδιου δισκου. Περιπου ενα χρονο χρησης μετα για τον πρωτο δισκο κανενα προβλημα αντιθετα, πολυ γρηγορος, αθορυβος και δροσερος.

    Edit 09/2019: Αμφοτετοι ζουν ακομα, 100% υγεια συμφωνα με Sentinel Pro, ο παλιοτερος εχει γραψει ~12ΤΒ ο νεοτερος περιπου τα μισα. Καθημερινη πολυωρη χρηση και για τους δυο. Ακομα δροσεροι και τελειως αθορυβοι.
