I've had it for about 5 years, the first year with normal cleaning after each use I managed to clog everything inside the heat pump with lint, so I paid €80 for cleaning/transportation, etc. After that, since I realized how thorough the cleaning needs to be, I paid €80 again after 3 years. The indication for all this is that it works non-stop without being able to dry the clothes and collects water in the bottom filter. In the last few days, it started doing the same, so I do not recommend it to anyone. When I got it, I thought A++ would save on consumption, but unfortunately, I end up spending on maintenance. In the end, an older technology model that allows you to clean all the filters is actually better.

It does its job very well, purchased during Christmas of 2016. Exactly at six years and three months, the motor burned out. This particular product has a 10-year warranty on the motor, but the responsible parties do not approve the replacement of the motor because it is filled with dust inside. The manufacturer is responsible for this outcome. They say they want us to open it up and blow it from the inside if possible

Now I have it for about 1.5 years, I have no words, it is perfect, it dries clothes quickly and the construction seems very sturdy. We had a different one before, from another company, and because it broke, we got this one. Compared to the previous one, this is the definition of a "perfect dryer". Relatively quiet, dries quickly, within 1.5 hours...the lint is easy to clean and you have access every time if you want to vacuum the lint that is on the filter, which is very important because the accumulation of "fluff" ruined our previous dryer. It is my favorite device in the house, I highly recommend it to you!

Purchased on 28/1/2019. Overall, I am satisfied with this particular dryer, but after two and a half years of mild use, one of the many magnets inside the motor came off, resulting in the need to replace the entire motor. The motor cost 100€ + 40€ for the technician's fees. I find it unjustifiable for a brand like AEG to have the motor fail in such a short period of time. We are a family of three with very mild use.

I am coming back again to inform you that I was told that when I purchased it, I should have registered it on the company's official website within a month in order for the ten-year warranty on the motor to be valid. Personally, I was not aware of this and I fell for it. So be careful not to fall for it too. Thank you.

The best purchase I have made. If you want to prevent clothes from wrinkling, just add one or two towels. During the winter, I hardly ever iron, but in the summer, when the fabrics are thinner, they require a little pressing if you put them in the dryer. I haven't noticed any difference in my electricity bill with 2-3 loads of laundry per week!

The reason I chose AEG is because I bought a washing machine from the company due to its energy efficiency. The dryer has plenty of programs that have covered all my needs. It doesn't make much noise, I would say almost none if I hadn't put in jackets with zippers, pants with buttons, and clothes with drawstrings that have metal ends, which is understandable I think. A great convenience is the option to drain the water directly into the sewer. When I take out the clothes and fold them while they're still warm, all the wrinkles that may have formed disappear, so the only thing I will iron is shirts. When the clothes cool down, the scent from the detergent also comes out. I believe I made a good purchase, and if anything changes in terms of construction quality, I will write again.

It is the most beautiful gift from my husband!!! It solved my big problem of drying clothes since the humidity is now at its peak. We have had it for three months now. At first, the clothes didn't come out with the scent of fabric softener, so I cleaned the washing machine with vinegar at a high temperature. Not that it was dirty, but I had suspicions that something was wrong with the washing machine. I also changed the detergent because I believed it wasn't cleaning my clothes well. Now they come out smelling fresh and very clean. As for the fact that they come out damp, you must read the instructions carefully. I have understood that you need to take out the clothes when the end sound starts, the first time, because then it continues with another process that leaves them slightly damp so they don't get too wrinkled. A very good choice!!!!!

We have had it for a year and we are completely satisfied. Great convenience with the water drainage kit directly into the sewer, so you don't have to empty it after each use. Sturdy construction.

I bought it in 2017. We use it very often, due to having a child. It is very effective in drying, as long as you follow the instructions. It is very economical in energy consumption. I just want to mention two issues. The first one is that I would prefer the other programs (except the first one with a limit of 8kg) to have the ability to use a larger load (in kilograms).
The second one concerns the quality of the door construction, it is made of PVC plastic, resulting in it becoming loose and having some gaps after almost 8 months of use, and it doesn't close as well. I would prefer it to be made of metal material. I didn't expect this from a company like AEG and considering the price of the product (that's why I chose it + its technical specifications).
I would buy it for its functionality, but for the door (as I mentioned before, the reason for my dissatisfaction), I would look for another company with the same technical characteristics but with better build quality.

After 3 months of full operation due to 2 small children, it has been a lifesaver for me as I used to have to hang clothes in the living room. Additionally, the clothes come out relatively wrinkle-free, not that you can fold them and put them in the drawer right away. You can do that if you want, but the clothes are in a condition as if they have been worn for a day. However, my major complaint is that it doesn't leave them smelling fresh from the fabric softener. They come out warm, rarely damp in some areas, but almost never with the scent of the fabric softener. If anyone knows why this happens, I would be happy to hear them, although I doubt it. And one more thing that is quite important. I operate it with night electricity and I haven't seen a significant change in the electricity bill. At the end of the day, yes, I would buy it again (without having experience with other dryers).

Excellent tool as long as you fold the clothes as soon as they finish drying. Incredibly economical, minimal difference in electricity consumption. We have had it for 1 and a half years, a family of four.

Because I have technical knowledge, I consider this specific dryer to be very good. It is the best choice that a consumer can make in the A+++ category. AEG is one of the few companies that has maintained quality in dryers. Actually, it has always had quality. So, if the user reads the instructions and uses it according to them, the clothes will dry properly and there will be no problem. The motor warranty is 10 years

Many problems started after the warranty expired, a lot of money for repairs and every 6 to 12 months issues that required almost 100 euros each time.... Yes, it helped me a lot. With the wardrobe program, I always made sure to be there when it finished and fold the clothes, I only had to iron shirts and embroidery.. but it cost me a lot of money for repairs...

It is my first dryer, so I have no experience at all. My problem is that even though I always put the right amount of clothes in the appropriate program, the clothes come out incredibly wrinkled. It dries perfectly, but wrinkling is a big problem... It requires twice as much ironing as with another washing machine.

The positives: It does what it promises.
You can't say it's completely silent, but with the door closed in the room it is located, it operates at night without disturbing us while we sleep.

The problem: One month after the expiration of the 2-year warranty, it started working non-stop without drying the clothes - from 11 pm to 7 am when we stopped it, only to find the clothes wet.
€35 for the examination from the official service + €130 for the repair: replacement of the circuit board and sensors.

I hope we don't have the same issues every two years.
We didn't use it excessively: we are a family of three.

Would I buy it today if I knew what I know? No. I would pay €200 more to buy something reliable/with a longer warranty.

Edit: Three years after the repair, it hasn't had any problems again, so everything is fine. I suppose we were unlucky

Purchase on 23/01/17 from a store and yesterday, while it started normally, suddenly the engine stopped working. The rotor inside was jammed. I went and bought a new engine and when I showed it to the seller, he immediately said, "Isn't it from AEG?" I replied yes, and he told me that it had several defects and that's why he has it readily available. Cost without labor is 90€. I didn't expect this from an AEG engine in two and a half years. Of course, I should mention that before this happened, we had no problems with the device whatsoever.

We have had it for 20 days and our hands are relieved. The clothes come out incredibly soft, warm, and fragrant. I hang them immediately in the closet while they are still warm, and they don't need ironing. It was a big mistake not to buy it years ago.

Apart from the basic 8-kilogram program, the rest of the programs it has are for 1 or 3 kilograms. Not very convenient, that is.

Today we are celebrating 1 year since we have it!!! So, I have to say: 1) it doesn't burn anything, when we say anything, we mean anything. 2) many programs. 3) if someone doesn't know how to operate it, the clothes will come out wet, the instruction booklet requires careful reading and you won't have any issues. Also, some people need to understand that it can take a maximum of 8kg of wet clothes, not dry ones, if they do that, it will dry them perfectly fine... it makes a bit of noise but with the bathroom and bedroom doors closed for the night with the night mode on, you can't hear anything. 4) regarding service, we haven't needed anything so far, everything is good!

I needed a whole new drum (I don't even remember if they called it that, but they changed the whole part and everything that is connected to it) 380 euros plus what I had already spent on repairs and estimates... It's not worth it, so choose something else!

It really saved us. I measured it with an energy meter and for a full basket of clothes, as unbelievable as it may seem, it burns less than 1.5kw. The clothes smell fresh and there is no need for fabric softener. Simply perfect.

In no case is it silent. But with a slightly closed door in the room where it is located, it does not bother. It seems to work effectively. It is worth such a purchase for cities with high levels of smog in the winter, where you cannot dry your clothes outside the house or when you have young children and you are in a hurry to have dry clothes available.
