Once you install it, you put the cover on correctly so that it fits and charge it overnight without using it (preferably with the phone off) - it easily lasts a whole day without much use and it is also authentic, so it is more reliable and closer to the official specifications!

Since I have dealt with batteries, the performance and duration of a battery also depend on its production year. So, if your phone is old, the battery you will put in will definitely be old, and it will discharge relatively quickly compared to a new phone.
After several charges, it will stabilize slightly. It does not mean that the battery is of poor quality.
Anyway, it is a good and genuine battery.
Do not use imitation if you are not sure it is a reliable brand.

This is the genuine battery that Huawei used in its previous models. It is not aftermarket.
I put it in my honor 8 (3 months of use) and it is perfect, just like the first one that lasted 2+ years.

Terrible! It only lasted 6 months. The factory one would go crazy at 5% and the screen would flicker and the icons would move on their own towards the end of its life (it lasted 2.5 years). The replacement one was even worse. After 6 months, it would go crazy at 40%, then after a few days at 60... 80, and now 100%. It shuts off and restarts repeatedly, the icons move on their own... I now have to constantly use a power bank to make it work. Guys, if the factory one fails you, get a new phone, it's not worth saving, you'll spend more.

P.S.: The battery has swollen and I read that it may cause an explosion. Waiting for the new phone. Caution!
