    So, I've owned it for about a year. I also bought the ATS so that when there is a power outage, the generator starts automatically and switches over automatically.
    The first two months it worked perfectly. After that, to start it needed more than 20-30 seconds of cranking (without touching the air choke). I changed the gasoline in case it had gone bad, added special additives to increase octane and for maintenance, but nothing changed. If you are there locally and close the choke, it starts immediately. Without that, not at all.
    This problem affects me because from the beginning I wanted it to be autonomous and to activate even when I'm not home. So I had to find a way for it to start easily by itself.
    With materials costing 5-10€, I bought a small 12v relay and connected it in such a way that when the starter operates, it activates the air choke solenoid and when it starts, it returns it to where it was.
    The result was amazing. Now the generator works like new and starts on the first try.
    Attention, the air choke is probably controlled by the AVR. You must ensure that when you supply power to the choke, the voltage is isolated and does not return to the AVR, and also that it returns after starting so that it is controlled again by the AVR.
    Remember that with the ATS, the generator tries to start 3-4 times for 4-5 seconds each time. If it doesn't start, then it stays off..
