If you want to repair your carpet, use the product after cleaning the underside of the carpet and only in a well-ventilated area.... as it smells quite a bit and takes a long time to dry!!! Unfortunately, it smells a lot at first. Personally, I couldn't place it in the children's room without washing it and leaving it for several days (summer) spread out on the balcony.... After a phone call with the company, they told me it is human-friendly (even though it smelled quite a bit for days even after re-washing the carpet!!!!!).... Nevertheless, it did its job.... It stopped the polymerization of the already existing non-slip layer that the carpet had as well as the retention of the fringes

It works if you follow the instructions perfectly. I glued the worn-out underlay of a 70s rug that was rubbing against sand. I will need a second package though, as it recommends two coats for greater durability. I applied it with a synthetic brush that can be cleaned with water and soap afterwards. If you make any mistakes, wipe them off before the product dries.
Λειτουργεί αν ακολουθήσετε τις οδηγίες μια χαρά, κόλλησε το αποσαθρωμένο υπόστρωμα ενός χαλιού του '70 που πλέον έτριβε σε άμμο. Θα χρειαστώ και δεύτερη συσκευασία όμως μιας και συνιστά δύο στρώσεις για μεγαλύτερη αντοχή. Το πέρασα με συνθετικό πινέλο το οποίο μετά καθαρίζεται με νερό και σαπούνι, εάν κάνετε κάποια ατσαλιά σκουπίζετε πριν στεγνώνει το προϊόν.
It seems to be doing a good job. So far (1 month later), the underlay has not produced any dust. Keep in mind that there used to be a mess before, so I am optimistic that we saved our carpet and our wallet.
The carpet has retained its elasticity, so when you roll it, you don't see the glue breaking or anything like that. For now, everything is good. Of course, I will come back in the summer when we take it out to see what it has done after a few months.

The glue does not become elastic and the carpet does not become non-slip because of the glue. That is, you will not see a layer of rubber underneath or anything like that. What you will see is the underlay being saturated with glue and its structure becoming more stable so that it is no longer loose. That is exactly what it claims to do. However, it does not become non-slip with this material. Not at all! I had it spread out for 3 days to dry. It does not dry in 24 hours as they say.
For a normal living room carpet, 3x2 meters, I used exactly 3 boxes - 2 hands. What is 1 box for 5 square meters.

Αυτό που θα δείτε είναι το υπόστρωμα να εμποτίζεται με την κόλλα και η δομή του να γίνεται πιο σταθερή για να μην είναι πια σαθρό. Αυτό ακριβώς που λέει ότι κάνει δηλαδή. Σε καμιά περίπτωση πάντως δε γίνεται αντιολισθητικό με αυτό το υλικό. Με την καμία! Το είχα 3 μέρες απλωμένο να στεγνώσει. Δε στεγνώνει σε 24 ώρες όπως λένε.

It seems to be doing a good job. So far (1 month later), the underlay has not produced any dust. Keep in mind that there used to be a mess before, so I am optimistic that we saved our carpet and our wallet.
The carpet has retained its elasticity, so when you roll it, you don't see the glue breaking or anything like that. For now, everything is good. Of course, I will come back in the summer when we take it out to see what it has done after a few months.
Some observations for the users, not for the product:

The glue does not become elastic and the carpet does not become non-slip because of the glue. That is, you will not see a layer of rubber underneath or anything like that. What you will see is the underlay being saturated with glue and its structure becoming more stable so that it is no longer loose. That is exactly what it claims to do. However, it does not become non-slip with this material. Not at all! I had it spread out for 3 days to dry. It does not dry in 24 hours as they say.
For a normal living room carpet, 3x2 meters, I used exactly 3 boxes - 2 hands. What is 1 box for 5 square meters.
Φαίνεται να κάνει καλή δουλεία. Προς το παρόν (1 μήνα μετά) δεν έχει βγάλει σκόνη το υπόστρωμα. Υπόψη ότι γινότανε χαμός πριν από σκόνη οπότε είμαι αισιόδοξος ότι το σώσαμε το χαλάκι και την τσεπούλα μας..
Το χαλί έχει κρατήσει την ελαστικότητα του οπότε όταν το κάνεις ρολό δε βλέπεις την κόλλα να σπάει ή κάτι τέτοιο. Προς το παρόν δηλαδή όλα καλά. Βέβαια, θα επανέλθω το καλοκαίρι που θα το βγάλουμε να δούμε τι έχει κάνει μετά από κάποιους μήνες.
Μερικές παρατηρήσεις για τους χρήστες όχι για το προϊόν:

Η κόλλα δεν γίνεται σαν ελαστομερές και ούτε γίνεται αντιολισθητικό το χαλί εξαιτίας της κόλλας. Δηλαδή δε θα δείτε ένα στρώμα από λάστιχο από κάτω ή κάτι τέτοιο. Αυτό που θα δείτε είναι το υπόστρωμα να εμποτίζεται με την κόλλα και η δομή του να γίνεται πιο σταθερή για να μην είναι πια σαθρό. Αυτό ακριβώς που λέει ότι κάνει δηλαδή. Σε καμιά περίπτωση πάντως δε γίνεται αντιολισθητικό με αυτό το υλικό. Με την καμία! Το είχα 3 μέρες απλωμένο να στεγνώσει. Δε στεγνώνει σε 24 ώρες όπως λένε.
Για ένα χαλί σαλονιού φυσιολογικό 3Χ2 χάλασα 3 κουτιά ακριβώς - 2 χέρια. Τι 1 κουτί είναι για 5 τετραγωνικά.
It's not worth it. It doesn't offer anything it promises.
Δεν αξίζει τον κόπο. Δεν προσφέρει τίποτα από όσα υπόσχεται.
