The external casing of the HELIOAKMI (MEGASUN) is made of anodized aluminum, particularly resistant to ultraviolet rays and coastal areas. The polygonal design offers double mechanical strength to the external casing of the tank.
The innovative design of the closed circuit jacket ensures stable operation even in freezing conditions and protects the collectors from the risk of clogging due to salts.
The strong polyurethane insulation with a thickness of 50 mm and a high density of 40 Kg/m³ ensures more hot water for use even if the outside temperature is 30 degrees C below zero.
The metal construction of the tank is 3 mm and is made according to DIN 4800-5, offering double resistance to high network pressures compared to most common solar water heaters.
The internal protection of the tank is achieved with DURO SMALT ELASTIC, which is considered the most suitable for hard water, avoiding the risk of cracks. Solar water heaters with tanks made of stainless steel (inox) or copper are also available.
The triple energy solar water heater features an electric resistance, with the option to add a backup heating element that can be connected to the radiator, achieving greater economy.
The independent position of the magnesium rod allows for its quick and easy replacement.

Within three years, the boiler got a hole. I like that it is written inside, with double glass for protection. They give me a new 160lt. one for 350e, from the 450e I paid. Thankfully.
Μέσα σε τρία χρόνια τρύπησε το boiler. Μ αρέσει που γράφουν μέσα, για επιστάλτωση με διπλό γυαλί για προστασία. Απο 450ε μου δίνουν καινούργιο 160lt. με 350ε. Πάλι καλά.
In the 6 years since installation, it has started leaking and currently only loses water when the temperature rises significantly. Of course, it is out of warranty and I am planning to replace it with a product from another company. Maintenance every 2 years and safety valves are 100% functional
