Description

Fishing reel from Oceanic, suitable for spinning. It has 4 bearings which facilitate the movement of the main shaft. The reel drum rotates with a gear ratio of 5.2:1, which means that with a complete turn of the handle, the spool will make 5.2 turns.

  • Can be used for spinning by those seeking a lightweight mechanism weighing 228g with performance on large fish
  • Smooth operation, incredibly linear brakes, and perfect winding
  • Features a conical type roller with one bearing, rigid and strong wire on the bail arm 
  • Tight and strong bail movement spring that withstands all the stresses of sudden and violent jerks
  • Large brake butterfly with ergonomic lever so we can easily and quickly change their settings 
  • 5kg force brakes which consist of three metal and three fabric washers with proper lubrication.
  • The spool is metallic as is the handle which ends in a small soft plastic Straight Shape type grip.

Maintenance of Mechanism

  • Clean the mechanism after each fishing trip to remove dirt and saltwater residues.
  • Rinse with fresh water to prevent corrosion.
  • Use oil or grease on moving parts to reduce friction and check the fishing line for wear.
  • Check the functionality of the drag system and adjust the tension accordingly.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, protected from dust.
  • Loosen the drag tension when not in use for extended periods.

    I've had it for about two months. It's good, it spins. At this price, it's good. The downside is that the little wheel that lays the line on the spool got stuck.
