I consider the Samsung s23 ultra to be truly the most reliable and fully integrated flagship device at the moment. I could have upgraded to the Samsung s24 ultra, but after comparing, I made the right decision. In an attempt to upgrade, the company replaced the Gorilla Armor to eliminate screen reflection, but the result was that the colors appeared more blurry compared to the Samsung s23 ultra, which has a diamond-like screen with Gorilla Glass Victus.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is better tuned and even has a clock speed of 3.36 GHz. Its curved screen provides a much better grip in the hand, resulting in a cleaner and faster finger operation. In terms of sound, the Samsung s23 ultra is once again ahead with 71.8 dBA in normal Classic mode. Its photographic capabilities have the advantage of x10 Zoom, which was not affected by the changes made by the company. Donmarx clearly states this. The battery is highly satisfactory, and so on. I highly recommend it for purchase because we are talking about a true beast and powerhouse of a smartphone that will satisfy you to the maximum. I must mention, of course, that some reviews claiming that it does not have Volte or that the fingerprint sensor does not work properly are simply statements outside of reality and pure fiction.

Four (12gb, 512) pieces were purchased from the well-known and reasonably priced seller. They more or less do the same job. I note that all of us owners are wealthy because we have chargers (we've had them for a long time, that is. We are wealthy from the fireplace). What does the poet say? We have three or four chargers each. In our cars, in our offices, in our homes... everywhere. Also, we calculated that if we charge them twice a day, for one hour each time, we will pay around eight -8- euros per year... FOR EVERYTHING. Imagine the huge expense you will incur. It's about 2.00 euros per year. We are not up for that now. To pay close to one and a half thousand euros for the phone and to be burdened with about one and a half to two euros PER YEAR to charge it. It's ridiculous somewhere...

With everything at full capacity, the phone gives about ten hours of screen usage. If someone uses the screen for more than ten hours in interaction and doesn't have a power bank with them, a car, a computer, an office, or is climbing the Himalayas... they shouldn't get it... they should leave... go somewhere else...

Now, regarding the battery issue (because this nonsense needs to end somewhere)... In direct comparison with the iPhone 12 Pro Max that the company provides me, we don't even enter the discussion. As soon as I get the 14, I will come back. With this, it's like comparing Barcelona to Doxa Katokopias. The photo of the Moon was not taken with expert raw (that's why it's included in the memorandum). Maybe... MAYBE, the latest iPhone has more stable video. I don't know yet. The pixel we have in the office will be much appreciated by those who prefer the oversaturated colors of the previous Galaxy models. In the S23 U, the images are as you see them. The screen is indeed wonderful, but my great weakness is my beloved LG phones, which have slightly better resolution and slightly smaller pixels. Nevertheless, it is truly excellent.

P.S. Today, 11/02/2023, Android version 14, UI 6 was installed. The upgrade took about two hours. It couldn't get any faster... SIMPLY BECAUSE IT CAN'T get any faster. It's lightning fast.
The "battery-stricken" will be happy because I have been using it for five hours and its battery has lost about 30%. Considering that I charged it up to 85%, we have enough power to last us the day and even have some left.
Pleasant and substantial changes were made to the camera. It accepts plenty of combinations.
I don't really like the new graphics, but as a genuine Linux user, it is fully customizable, so no problem!
P.S. 2. The photo of the phone was taken with the lousy little apple phone (with apologies), so don't have high expectations for quality and resolution, okay? Sorry about that.

The phone simply does it all! Very fast, the stylus is an inseparable assistant, and its functions are numerous and useful. The camera is amazing! Try the zoom (you will need to hold it steady for photos with high zoom and at 50-100x it would be good to use the stylus), photos at 200MP, and you will see for yourselves. The only thing I noticed is that the photo format is linked to the resolution (e.g. you cannot have a 16:9 format with 200MP resolution). In high resolutions, the standard format is 4:3, which digital cameras have, and personally, it doesn't bother me at all. However, it has already been announced that in a future update, the format and resolution will not be linked. With regular use, without any power-saving settings and limited charging to 85%, the battery lasts up to 1.5 days, which is satisfactory for the size of the phone. As for its price, yes, it is expensive, but unfortunately, these mobile phones now fall into this price range. A lower price would definitely be welcome!

Transition from Note 10+ 12/256 to S23 Ultra 12/512.
I really didn't expect such a big difference in some things compared to the Note 10+.
The S23 Ultra is bulkier in size but has a better feel of its materials and a very nice color.
#Display is a gem, brighter and more vibrant with smoother scrolling in both apps and browsing. The 120Hz makes a difference!!
#Battery: Very good. With moderate use, it lasts 18 hours. With light use, 26 hours. The big difference is at night, as the S23 Ultra only loses 2% in 7 hours of idle time, while the Note 10+ loses 14%.
Fast charging, and in 10 minutes you reach 40% from 15%, as it easily reaches 35W with PD3.0.
#CPU: The Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor plays a significant role compared to the Exynos 9825. Everything runs faster and smoother with less battery consumption.
#Samsung DEX: Still amazing and finally in 4K. You can connect your phone everywhere (monitor, projector, TV) and have a ready-to-use computer for presentations, movies for kids, office use, as Microsoft Office works fully on DEX as if you were on your computer. Connect a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and you're all set.
#Audio separation!!! Incredible feature. I have connected a projector for a presentation and receive a call. The call sound is in my headphones, while the video sound continues to play from the projector.
#Excellent photography. The new telephoto lens and the 10X optical zoom produce no noise and the photos are crystal clear. With digital zoom, there is some noise but at acceptable levels.
#WLAN: 1.9G on AX (FritzBox 7590 AX v2) while the Note 10+ had 1.2G. File transfer in the home network and backup to NAS in seconds.
#5G: I have reached 1G down and 168M up with Cosmote and generally haven't encountered any issues.
#Calls: HD+ and you can hear and be heard perfectly.
#One UI 5.1: There are no major differences compared to 4.0, so the transition was very easy and smooth. Smart Switch took care of transferring everything from one phone to another. It took me about an hour to transfer cards to Wallet and register the new device with banks and the government.
#S Pen: Same feel as the Note 10+ and same functions.
#Speaker: Very powerful with clear sound at all frequencies. I can hear conversations (teams) and music very clearly. Atmos gives a surround feeling if you hold the phone at 20 to 30 degrees. At a greater distance (e.g. on a table), it doesn't help, and personally, I turn it off to have higher volume for dialogues.
#Storage space: The 512GB is good, and I think it's a must for someone who wants to have RAW files from photos for editing.
#Price: Overall, the situation with prices has gotten out of hand. It's not reasonable to start at €1000 and increase based on the version. There is a huge gap with mid-range phones priced at €500 and €600 that is not justified. I believe the 12/512 should have been at a maximum of €1000 (not €1200), the 8/256 at €800, and the 12/1T at €1200.

After 3 months of daily use, I am giving you objective information about the phone.

1) The battery lasts for 1 day of average use.
2) The photos and videos are fantastic, as well as the front camera. In my opinion, the rear camera is better than the 14 pro max, but not in terms of video, and the front camera of the iPhone is slightly better with just one click. However, in low light conditions and for astrophotography, it excels!
3) Fantastic screen and deep, nice sound.
4) Nice design, feels premium in the hand.
5) Perhaps too wide for one-handed use.
6) Super brightness.
7) It has never frozen or crashed on me, neither in apps nor in social media.
8) Signal switching between Wi-Fi/data, etc. is all great.
9) Calls, touch quality, and everything else are all wonderful.
10) Lastly, I will say that the phone is durable against marks. Even though I have a case and generally take care of it, it hasn't gotten a scratch (screen/bezel) or accidental friction from pockets, etc.

For me, it is the king of Android.

If it's worth the money, I believe that 1400 euros for any phone is not worth it.

If you don't have extra money, there are very decent alternatives.

So, it's your choice!

I bought it at the end of February 2023. The facial recognition works whenever the phone remembers and as long as I have entered part of the unlock code. No comparison to the equivalent function on iPhones. It has a problem and freezes when using on-screen options if you put on a screen protector. (Let's assume it wasn't installed correctly by the company, so I'm not being absolute...).

Attention, attention, attention. During the download process of the NBG & WINBANK applications of the National and Piraeus Bank respectively, they tried to steal the card codes. They succeeded in the National Bank.

Additionally, you must consider that you will have to spend a fairly large amount of money to change the chargers you have - one is never enough for home, travel, and car. You will find good ones for over €50 each. Also, for charging cables and headphones (because it only recognizes genuine ones).

These are the first impressions for the beginning of our acquaintance... What can I say? The first feelings are negative...

It's the most complete thing Samsung has released in recent years and we're going for it.
2. Finally, the Exynos is gone, the Snapdragon Gen 2 is incredibly efficient. I don't play games, but I make a lot of calls and emails, and it easily lasts for 2 days.
3. Night photos are unbeatable, with clean photos and incredible zoom that rivals DSLRs from 5-6 years ago. The photos are much cleaner with less noise than the iPhone.
4. Video has improved and while it's not quite at the level of Apple, it's very close and definitely the best Android at the moment.
5. The One UI, especially version 5.1, is much easier to use without bloatware.
6. It's a premium device, but make sure to get a good case that fits, not just any case. The S22 cases unfortunately don't fit.
7. The after-shoot functionality is very good and you can do a lot with it.

Can you do the same job with a cheaper phone? Definitely. It's not for everyone, but it's the best.

I decided to pre-order and get the Green version with a discount coupon that Samsung gave me, and I managed to get the offer of 512GB/12GB RAM for €1349.

I will start with the processor, where the difference is noticeable both in terms of fast performance and improvement in temperature and battery life.

It has a nice feel in the hand when you hold it. Those who are fans of the NOTE series with the stylus will like it, just like me. However, I would prefer the stylus to be on the right side, as it is in the Note 10, instead of the left side, which seems a bit inconvenient to me.

Let's talk about the camera. I believe it will improve with the next update, although the resolution quality is already very good.

However, if someone has the S22 and wants to get the S23, I would advise against it as it might disappoint you a bit.

After one year of use, the screen burned out. Due to using GPS on a daily basis, I noticed burnt icons on the screen, resulting in the pixels being damaged. So be careful not to work with the screen at full brightness as it can cause problems. Luckily, it is still under warranty.

I come from the S21 Ultra, which I kept for two years and enjoyed very much. I am referring to the 512GB version, which I pre-ordered. Speaking about my experience here for a week, I have the following to say:

--> Build quality: Top-notch. Sturdy, with exceptional materials, although I must admit that glass always scares me. The color green is something between green, khaki, and gray. A very good choice to soften the curves on the right and left of the screen, thus giving more space to write with the S-pen. It is quite heavy, due to its size of course. It is not small. I should note that the width of the device has increased slightly, giving us more real estate for whatever we do.

--> Display: What can you say about a Samsung display. Excellent, fast in response, without any issues, and with many options to customize it, including 120Hz. I noticed that the saturation has been toned down a bit compared to the S21 Ultra I had, and the colors are not as intense in the saturated profile. However, it is not something that bothers me. Some might even say it looks more realistic.

--> Sound: The stereo speakers are also improved. Slightly louder with better stereo image and more bass. As much as a mobile phone can produce.

--> Cameras: Macro, ultra-wide, 200MP, 3X telephoto, 10X telephoto... you have everything you can ask for in any shooting conditions you find yourself in. The photo algorithm is also improved, allowing you to take very distinctive photos without much effort. ...although I would like the post-processing time after pressing the button to be shorter. However, the result compensates for it. The video is also greatly improved, especially in low light. I still think that the iPhone is slightly better, although the difference is now much smaller than in the past.

--> Battery: Here I have very good news because the battery is one of the main selling points of the device. Compared to the S21 Ultra, we have about a 50% increase in autonomy, according to my usage. Usually, at the end of the day, I have about 50% battery remaining with around 4.5 hours of Screen On Time. Brightness is set to automatic, 120Hz, Bluetooth constantly syncing with a smartwatch, 5G enabled, and mainly used for browsing, Google Meet video calls, and gaming.

--> Processor: Finally, the complaints were heard, and now we all have the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy... without feeling like the poor relative here in Europe!!! Excellent processor, very fast in games, browsing, and applications. I have not noticed any overheating, except for a moment when I felt a certain temperature after running benchmarks.

--> Fingerprint sensor: I have nothing to comment on. It works flawlessly.

--> Operating system: This year, Samsung did something that I believe Apple did first. They kept the exterior the same and focused more on the interior, or better said, the essence of the device. This resulted in excellent optimization and integration of hardware with software. As a result, we have the smoothest animations you have ever seen (to be honest, I always envied the iPhone for this reason, but now they are on the same level), and I have not noticed any freezes or hesitation from the device in executing tasks so far. Also, as it is known, there are countless customization options to tailor it to one's needs. Additionally, with 4 years of major Android updates and 5 years of security updates, it makes it a very future-proof mobile device. Samsung now provides the care that it should have given to its devices.

-->Price: Of course, it's ridiculous. Of course, astronomically high. In no way is it worth the money, just like any other mobile device. Let's be serious and realistic. 1600+ euros for a mobile phone is excessively overpriced. I believe that a reasonable price for flagship devices like this would be around 800 euros.

-->Conclusion: In the one week that I have had it, it appears to me as a device that is definitely a class above the previous one I had. Many details have been improved, such as sound, processor, battery, etc... and I am sure that many more will continue to improve with upcoming updates. It is a real tool for professionals, especially when using the unique S-Pen, which gives you capabilities that no other device has, but also for the average user who wants the best of everything. If you are in the Samsung "ecosystem," all the devices work together and cooperate very nicely. However, it is difficult to recommend this device at this price. Even more difficult is the fact that the unboxing is now very "poor," as inside the very small box, you only find the mobile phone and a cable. It is provocative that there is no charger.
