Description

A twisted tale of sadistic Sorcerers and the monstrous creatures they create. In a city so grim it is only known as "the Hole," a faction of Sorcerers has begun abducting people from the streets to use them as lab rats in grotesque "experiments" in the dark arts. In a dark alley, Nikaido found Kaiman, a man with a reptilian head and severe amnesia. To break the curse, they hunt and kill the Sorcerers in the Hole, hoping that they will ultimately kill the right one. However, when En, the Sorcerer leader, learns about the reptile-man slaughtering his people, he sends a team of "cleaners" into the Hole, igniting a war between two worlds. Every year, hordes of the dead are resurrected and roam the streets of the Hole, hungry for living flesh. And every year, Kaiman and Nikaido participate in the local competition to exterminate the living dead! Whoever sends the most living dead back to the ground will win wonderful prizes. But the fun quickly ends when En's cleaners finally track down Kaiman and Nikaido. Someone will lose their head. Literally.

This review is about the add to your collection: Vol. 1

A dark story with intense, harsh images, set in a post-apocalyptic environment. The introduction is somewhat chaotic, lacking clear direction, however, the main conflict between humans and the wizards experimenting on them is later revealed. Nevertheless, the plot is uninteresting, it fails to connect you with the protagonist or create that sense of mystery or suspense.
