SHIMANO designed the CUES series tailored for bikes seeking maximum reliability and durability under adverse conditions, at maximum force loads, and for high torque, such as those experienced by E-Bikes.

  • The philosophy of the CUES series is based on thicker gear teeth and the different angles at which the chain operates.
  • It allows for smooth shifting from one gear to another, without noise, inaccuracies, or the risk of the chain breaking when shifting under high power loads.
  • This results in up to 3 times longer lifespan, with guaranteed proper operation under all conditions.
  • The SHIMANO CUES series is compatible with almost all mid-range and higher bikes.
  • Compatible even with most older aluminum bikes.
  • For the transmission to function, the entire old and worn chain set must be replaced.
  • Chain and gear operation standards cannot be combined with technologies from different series that are not Link Glide.
