The new ITX has donned its full carbon suit and looks more beautiful than ever! OKUMA has utilized carbon entirely for the construction of the ITX, thus reducing its weight while simultaneously increasing its resistance to saltwater.

Its rotor is made from carbon c 40x designed with CFR (Cyclic Flow Regulator) technology, which removes any moisture present in the head area, keeping the head bearing and the anti-reverse mechanism dry, while also providing an extremely smooth operation.

The new spool is 30% lighter than the old one, thereby reducing the overall weight of the mechanism, while it performs better when using less drag, as its rotation is not affected by its weight.

OKUMA has used a new 7075 aluminum alloy for the construction of the axle.
