The Zeck SRM 3000 fishing reel is a modern and outstanding spinning mechanism designed specifically for demanding anglers targeting species such as perch, pike, or large bass. It belongs to the SRM series, which revolutionizes the medium-sized reel category.
The reel is made from a magnesium alloy body, a lightweight yet extremely durable material used only in branded products. This alloy reduces the overall weight of the reel and offers excellent resistance to stress and bending, maintaining perfect gear alignment.
The chemical coating of the magnesium casing provides protection against corrosion, making the reel suitable for use in wet conditions or for occasional saltwater angling.
One of the biggest advantages of the SRM 3000 model is its internal gearing system. With a retrieval ratio of 6.0:1, the reel offers fast retrieval speed, crucial for modern fishing techniques, without compromising torque or resistance. The sealed bearings (9+1) and the infinite anti-reverse system are completely disengageable, providing flexibility and control during the fight.
The SRM 3000 is designed for rods with a casting weight of between 40 and 80 grams, ideal for targeting pike with large soft baits or jerkbaits, in structures or deep waters, or for large bass with crankbaits, spinnerbaits, or soft plastics on heavy jigs.
The spool has a special profile that facilitates even line lay, ensuring long and accurate casts. Additionally, the front drag with completely sealed carbon ensures fine tension control and excellent resistance when battling big fish.
