La Trappe is a monastic Dutch beer that comes from a Trappist brewery on the border with Belgium, which is the only one in the Netherlands. The La Trappe brewery was established within the Koningshoeven Abbey of the "Trappist" Order of Silence in 1884. The Tripel is dark blonde in appearance with flavors and aromas of fruits (peach and apricot), nuts, and honey, with a bittersweet aftertaste. It is served at 10°-14°C.
