Matte acrylic paints, water-soluble and specially formulated for airbrushing. The Model Air color range contains the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in recent history, including colors from World War I and II up to today. Each color is based on extensive research by experts regarding existing and previous military references, to provide the modeler with the maximum possible historical accuracy.
The use of Model Air can be done directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first apply the base color to the surface and then apply Model Air in several layers. The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous color film of exceptional durability, preserving even the smallest detail of the model.
For airbrushing these colors, it is recommended that the compressor air pressure is 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can also, of course, be applied with a brush. For proper maintenance of the airbrush, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is recommended.
Safety: Model Air is not flammable and contains no solvents. For more information on product safety, you can refer to the safety page.
Packaging: Model Air is presented in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents the evaporation and drying of the paint inside the container, allowing for use in minimal amounts and preserving it for a long time.
