Matt acrylic paints, water-soluble and specially designed for airbrushes. The Model Air paint range includes the most comprehensive selection of military colors used throughout modern history, including colors from World War I and II to the present day.
Each color is based on extensive research conducted by experts on existing and previous military references to provide the modeler with the highest possible historical accuracy. Model Air can be used straight from the bottle or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first apply a primer and then apply Model Air in multiple layers.
The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous color film of exceptional durability, preserving even the smallest details of the model. For airbrushing these colors, a compressor air pressure of 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg is recommended. Model Air can of course also be applied using a brush.
For proper maintenance of the airbrush, it is recommended to use Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and contains no solvents. See also the certified safety information of the product on the Safety page.
Packaging: Model Air is available in 17 ml/0.57 fl.oz. dropper bottles. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint inside the container, allowing it to be used in minimal amounts and stored for a long time.
