Matte acrylic paints, water-soluble and specially designed for airbrush. The Model Air color range includes the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in recent history, including the colors from World War I and II, as well as those used today. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts regarding existing and previous military references to provide the modeler with maximum historical accuracy.
Model Air can be used directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prepare the surface and then apply the Model Air in multiple layers. The paints dry very quickly and form a uniform layer of paint with exceptional durability, still maintaining even the smallest detail of the model.
For airbrushing these colors, an air compressor pressure of 15 - 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg is recommended. Model Air can, of course, also be applied with a brush. For proper airbrush maintenance, it is recommended to use Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.
Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and does not contain solvents. Please also see the certified safety information for the product on the Safety page.
Packaging: Model Air is available in 17 ml/0.57 fl. oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint in the container, allowing it to be used in minimal amounts and preserved for a long time.
