Matte acrylic paints, water-soluble and specifically designed for airbrush use. The Model Air paint range includes the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in recent history, from World War I and II to the present.
Each color is based on extensive research by our experts on existing and previous military references, in order to provide the modeler with the maximum possible historical accuracy. Model Air can be used directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver.
It is recommended to prime the surface first and then apply Model Air in multiple layers. The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous film of color with excellent durability, retaining even the smallest details of the model.
For airbrushing, the recommended compressor air pressure is 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can also be applied with a brush. For proper airbrush maintenance, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is recommended.
Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and does not contain solvents. For product safety information, see the safety data page.
Packaging: Model Air is available in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint inside the container, allowing it to be used in minimal amounts and maintained for a long time.
