Description

Matte acrylic paints, water-based and specially formulated for airbrush use. The Model Air paint line includes the most comprehensive selection of military colors used throughout recent history, including colors from World War I and II up to the present day.

Each color is based on extensive research by experts regarding existing and previous military references to provide the modeler with the highest possible historical accuracy. Model Air can be used straight from the bottle or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prepare the surface and then apply Model Air in various layers.

The paints dry very quickly and form a uniform film of color with excellent durability, retaining even the finest details of the model. For using these paints with an airbrush, the compressor air pressure is recommended to be between 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can naturally also be applied with a brush.

For proper maintenance of the airbrush, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is recommended. Safety: Model Air is not flammable and contains no solvents. A safety data sheet is available for the product certification.

Packaging: Model Air is presented in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint in the container, allowing it to be used in minimal quantities and kept for a long time.
